Not me, I'm in Alberta so quite a ways from the problem. But even here about 90% of the news coverage is about the blackout. And, uhh, solar flare my a**, terrorism seems more likely to me.

NYC here and Power went out Yesterday around 4:15PM EST.
Power just came back Friday 3:30 PM EST
What a nightmare. No street lights no nothing.
But I was able to see at least 30 stars in the sky last night. Very rare out here in this city. _______________________

Just for you guys that were in the Blackout yesterday. Wrangler from Polaris was locking and deleting all the posts related to the blackout. All the best stuff on the forums seems to happen when the majority of EVE is sleeping, lucky for me I'm still up then =P Some very funny things have happened here, with the 'nerf bat of happy abandon' being probably the funniest thing yet =P

NO WAY Zores, I had to buy Jewish Candles too!
Im trying to remember what they were called, but they were long and white, and the picture on the box was of some woman with her hands in her face (crying?), while the candles were lit in a multi-candleholder thing.
They were like a buck for 12 of them, but burned like jet-fuel lol.

I am in Fairfield County, Connecticut, visiting my parents, and ya the blackout was from 4:15pm Thursday to about 4:00am Friday morning.
Solar flare? Lightning? I think not. Towelheads sounds like the more appropriate answer.

My town doesn't have power anyway, I have to rig up a generator using my dog, a big tractor wheel and some fireworks to get my computer running day in and day out.
Ah, I so dream of this thing you call electricity.

I'm in Montreal, so I'm not touched... but... my ISP is in Toronto damn it! And they won't be back until the end of the weekend... so I'm out of internet for 2-3 days! ARGH!!!! Hopefully I can use internet at work now, but I'll be stuck to watch TV or do nothing since I'm broke and can't go out... what a blast... not.

Power whent out 4:10pm and funny thing is I didn't even notice it. I left the house at 4:00pm to go to the gym when I got their the gym had no power, so I thought it was just the gym.
They soon closed down the gym so I whent home to find every single light off in the streets and I was like "oh boy". So I thought to my self ok it's the neighborhood, turn on the radio (thank god for batteries) and I find out it's the entire north east section of America!, LOL!!
What wasn't funny was how I had to suffer with no air in the heat and I barely slept a wink.
What I wouldn't have given to be in my perfectly temperate utterly comfortable womb like pod listening to some transient music as I gaze at the stars through my ultra powerful and sensitive camera drones...

NY (Westchester)
Ya, I was hit and ended up having to take the ferrets out on the porch and hang out there most of the night untill about midnight when it got cool enuf inside to keep them safe in there (not very tolerant of >80degrees those little furballs)
Xelios, funny coinky-dink - I dated a great girl from Edmonton, originally her family was from New Foundland but her folks lived up in Red Deer. I recall she took me by there when we went out to Jasper one time.
Collier was the last name - RD didn't look like a tiny town but in case it is ;) drop me an evemail if might know em hehe.
