What does every1 think of adding roaming moon materials in W-space? After the moon mats {1week to 1 months worth} are depleted, it moves to another WH.
Ofc, R64 wouldn't be able to spawn in C1-C3 systems. |

I believe the general jist with the community (or maybe its just me), if were going to mine planets, make the materials unique for construction of sleeper type modules and equipment for t3's.
We kind of do not want the whole mess that is known as Cartels, Nullsec, Doms, etc. We're not that big of a prick. |

Yeah, pretty much what PJ said, moon mats - sure, but make them unique, just like the gas, loot, salvage etc. www.wormholefundamentals.com www.youtube.com/user/asayanami www.twitter.com/Asayanami www.facebook.com/Asayanami.Dei

I'm guessing that Moon Materials weren't included into WHs originally in order to keep the massive power blocks from moving out of Null and into WHs.

Personally, I think moons should deplete and the material respawns in another moon elsewhere anyhow. Moon mining will surely draw many people into w-space, but the depletion and respawning of moon materials is what I feel would make the ultimate difference. Frankly, not sure if any good could come from the change, but maybe, maybe not?
tl;dr - If they bring (depleting) moon mining into w-space, include the "depleting" mechanic to all moons in the game. ~Boredom Breeds Direction~ |

Im just going too have too say no. Yes i am for depleting moons in null, would make for better wars. However i want no moon goo of any type (even if its new t3 gunk for something new) Would just cause problems when I work it out in my mind. "The stone exhibited a profound lack of movement." |

I thought the whole Idea behind not having Moon minerals in WHs was to keep from generating those perma-residents that would arrise. If it was to happen just imagine how many abandoned POss there will be because Everyone is out trying to mine them...
Naaa, I don't think it will be useful in any fasion. |

I'd vote yes.
I'd also vote for a change in EVERY resource being depleted and 're-spawn' somewhere else for a while.
Moon mining, P.I, ore, everything- that would kind of simulate deposits being mined completely and new deposits being discovered.
Some areas of space would become really valuable for a period of time while others would deplete and become less valuable.
It would also mean if a big alliance wanted to be super rich- they would have to chase the valuable stuff around all the time or make do with what they can get where they settle down. |

I find moons to a be bad mechanic and very passive. Incentives always have to be Grunt up, instead of top down. Moons don't do that. Wormholes have the best accoustics. It's known. - Sing it for me - |

Phoenix Jones wrote:[quote=Evangelina Nolen] If there going to consider moon mining, make it different materials specific to T3 ships.
Yes, lets link it to T3's.....getting nerfed.....so these materials will become as worthless as ribbons and gas will become. We'll have the advantages of having not only an over abundance of worthless materials but, we'll be eyeball deep in materials noone wants to harvest........great idea!
People who suggest w-space should be changed to reflect more like null should be shot on sight.....seriously....noone here wants null mechanics, politics, BS.
Original idea: How about coming up with ideas that have nothing to do with null? HTFU!...for the children! |

Or the big alliances could just hold so much space that the randomness averages out until it only bothers the little groups. When a large group depletes one deposit, they have a very high chance that another deposit has already spawned in their space. |
