The war between M. Corp and The Forsaken Empire is coming to an end. M. Corp has surrendered to The Forsaken Empire. The war will be declared as being over after approximately 24 hours.
In the few times you guys did participate in the fighting you guys did fight well. Your pilots were always honorable and held themselves to a high standard. Good luck in in your future endeavors.

No corp thats relevent has left FE. A 10 man corp getting kicked from FE for inactivity doesnt really effect things in any way. M. corp is a quality corp and a sizable loss to your alliance. |

Well, correct me if I am wrong but I do recall some large flaming post when Species left F-E... Though that was probably just an Alt so we never really will technically know who said that...
Plus, I find it interesting that a goodluck/farewell message to M Corp is interpreted as a flame to ATUK... A little touchy, are we? Persh did not say anything that can be construed as "OMGZ WE ARE SO L337 WE WTFPWNT M CORP SO HARD THEY LEFT T3H 5!!!!!111eleven."

As much as I'd like to take credit for m.corp leaving it probably had more to do with a certian corp in their alliance behaiving poorly and them not want to be associated with that. |

Thank you for the well wishes pershphanie, FA / M.Corp clashes have been fairly rare yes, and likewise I will return the compliments on the conduct witnessed by all our pilots by your forces.
M.Corp has indeed chosen to leave the FIVE, but our leaving this alliance is most surely not to be seen as "The death of FIVE" that many of you seem so eager to proclaim.
We have left to attempt new goals with a few friends. We are pretty excited about it and when the server comes back up it will be back to business for us. Same enemies, same friends as usual. Leaving the FIVE was a big decision for us and we probably laboured over it for too long allowing rumour after rumour to spread which I regret has been damaging to all involved.
After our campaign in Cache against RA during the summer during which time M.Corp and other FIVE corps successfully stripped RA of ALL stations effectively making them an empire alliance for some 6 weeks, the FIVE immediately became embroiled in a number of wars against alliances that M.Corp had little beef with.
I'll be honest when I say that it is not and never has been M.Corp's style to be the persecutors of war in far flung regions against enemies that are not a direct threat to our ways of life. A calamitous meeting with MC as we were attempting to turn our already drained members to the northern hemisphere confirmed that something had to change, we slowly regrouped and thought of ways in which we could get what we wanted from the game.
We are sad to leave our friends in the FIVE, there are some extra-ordinary people in that alliance that command respect EVE-WIDE and it is our fervent hope to remain on good terms with them as we part ways. |

This event will have little effect on FE, however a sizable effect on the5 alliance. However I was simply making a thread to wish M. Corp luck and pay our due respect to them for how they carried themselves in this war.
If you think M.Corp was not a valuable part of your alliance you certianly have a right to your opinion. I happen to think differently.

In that chatlog you will see words that back up our decision to leave the FIVE, we are not comfortable in the role of an invading corp attacking random enemies and incurring all the rep that comes with it.

atuk does what they can do best for some time alrdy fightin inside an enemie territory.
now from what i kow they snhra and for sure mcorp wasnt very active in the north - so that iga was useless anyways, dunno whats gonna happen with suprm and bos now, but theyr both in syndicate so that wouldnt affect f-e and atuk either.
so atuk will still stay in hpa and kill the enemies there from em -
but besides that, imo the 5 couldve handled everything,
besides reds small pos spammin maybe,
the most lame thing i ever came across,
but the arrogance from atuk leaders to the other ceos was close to unbearable, the only thing that got the 5, and could ever.
but as said alrdy, atuk dont needs the 5

Gl [M.] and Shnra was great flying with you all.
I dont think this will have much effect on ATUK's war up north as its only really been ATUK/Delta for several weeks now, they seem to be getting lots of kills and the north dont seem to be able to dislodge them. Although as ATUK dont seem to want to take any territory i`m not sure how much they can hurt the northern allies in the longterm.

Different goals often cause some conflict. This split is for the best for all 5 corps IMO as they can then focus 100% on what each one does best and wants its long term gaming goal to be.

Don't judge us by your own idiotic chilish standards. This thread had nothing to do whatsover with ATUK, it was a gesture of goodwill by Persh co-leader of F-E to M.Corp and Shinra. Both of whom most of us actaully like, irrespective of the fact they are 'enemies' in game. You have tried to turn it once again into a mud slinging cheat beating exersise.
Of course had CDI or GODS just left F-E there would of course be no mention of this on the forum by anyone remotely connected with ATUK. In fact you would have sent nothing more than an eve mail to Persh wishing him all the best for the future.
How a decent bloke like Monkey Time puts up with you lot is beyond me.

If I was was FE member I'd be more worried about ATUK spanking me in my own space before worrying about the internal politics of the 5.
Personally I'm not 100% aware of whats gone off at the top level of 5 management but Eve is a fluid game and it changes all the time. If I'm honest I'm not overly ecstatic at what has transpired but one has to show loyalty to their corp and thats my intention. Onwards and upwards as they say.
As for FE comments either positive or negative quite frankly you can stick them up your rectum I just hope ATUK keeps handing you your arses on a plate.

I think i'll second that. Pretty sensible and accurate imo. From my point of view,it's gotten to the point that the north needs to do the "boring stuff" to win the war.
That means taking down the atuk pos,blockading the pipe to mess with their reinforcements,camp them with an overwhelming force on an almost 24/7 basis and so on,give them a couple of fleet fights to deplete their ship supply regardless of kill/loss ratio etc.
It's no big secret that once an enemy is forced into guerilla mode it's actually quite hard to deal with. I'm not trying to discredit Atuk,since their tactics are pretty reasonable and i would do the same if i were in their shoes.
What kills alliances is a combination of low morale and a lack of fun factor.
If atuk are still what they used to be in the past,of which i have no inside knowledge and can't pass judgement on their current abilities,then shinra and m.corp leaving will not have any significant impact on their morale. If on the other hand the case is different,then a combination of boredom and lack of direction might set in,which coupled with 2 of their allies leaving could produce some bad vibes.
With regards to their operations,since they were pretty much alone up north for most of the time this also has no effect.
That leaves the fun factor to deal with. Currently they might have some trouble resupplying,depending on the level of hostile activity,but they are getting a lot of easy kills against careless people and some bigger fights now and then (at least by the looks of it).
That brings us back to the point at hand. In order to dislodge atuk the northern allies will have to spend a lot of time camping gates and stations with a ridiculously overpowering force to stop the north being fun for them. I know if i could roam around and kill some BS's everyday, with a little NPC'ing on the side to make some isk i would not be sad at all. If however i had a 100 ship blob waiting for me to undock everytime i logged in,i would look for a new playground. No flames intended at all,just some possibilities and my personal estimates on them.

Well,i think this little discussion goes to prove my little theory about flaming. Most of it generates from ppl being bored to write some long posts with a bunch of "ifs" and "maybes" thrown in for impartiality.
I could have just posted in a single paragraph with bad punctuation,some stereotype wording along a similar meaning,with a bit of an insult twist and it would be 100% pure flamebait.

M.Corp even tho once a member of 5 or CA i never saw em as that , yes i bought some at them on my other account , whenever i see that name i think of an independant corp doing its own and giving an extremely good service .
Im long lost in all whats going on atm but i do wish you well , youve handled my request very well , yer reputation is very strong and about listening to what yer corp wants .....thats whats makes a corp going , let them flmae you , let them call names ...most of them dont even have a clue whats sometimes needed to keep a group together , yes even splitting from something .
M.Corp has a very good rep . They also have to take care of day to day buisness and members lets not forget about that .

Noone in any of the alliances, or just about anyone else who's head isn't deep in a hole, ALREADY KNEW those mails didnt mean MCorp and Shinra actually surrendered.
They were posted as the notification to us of what had happened (ie. M.Corp and Shinra choosing their own way), nothing more. Persh even stated earlier that noone from any of the northern alliances was claiming responsibility.
Leave well enough alone. No disrespect was implied from the OP. Whatever you INFER from it is your own problem, not ours.

I'm deeply offended that you are implying that I created this thread as a subtile way of smacktalking the5. FE mearly wanted to pay our respects to shinra/m.corp for a war well fought. As far as the use of the word 'surrender', that was not my fault. I just posted the automated message that concord sends when a corp leaves an alliance during a war. I did this so people would know it was official and not more random speculation. Take it however you want, but not every thread created is about atuk. sory to disapoint you. |

@Amthrianius i think this is because F-E/PA/NBSI declared the war on .5.
if an Agressor drops out its retracting the declared war, if an Aggressed drops out its surrendering
not really of importance, but didnt notice that until now aswell

Only from last page of this thread. I`ve seen few guys from M.Corp joining ATUK (looking @ your killboard). Seems, that only BOS didn`t lose any members. (SUPRM was almost dry, when Thol and his crew left to join ATUK).
So - nothing unusual. I`d stay away from memberleeching machine too.
I was very sad, when looking @ five killboard. Seems, that 80% warriors of ex-CA are in ATUK now. . Good job. I can`t say more.

Maybe it's just me, but Id think the classy thing would have been to wait for them to announce it and then wish them luck. I remember when [5] jumped the gun on xetic and that was embarrising for some of our leadership tbh. IMO, let those who need to put information out there. It isnt like you all didnt get the DED (or concorde) mail saying they left 5.
