getting an agent is supposed to be totally random. Though having hig social and charisma will push this random factor a bit to your advantage. I havn't heard of anyone getting a lvl3 agent before finishing at least 60+ missions, without failing that is. I think i did about 40-50 missions at least after I got upp to 4 in corp standing witch is max for the lvl2 agent.. I think I've now got about 6x lvl 1 agents. 4 or 5 lvl 2 , and 2 lvl 3 agents.. hope you'll get a new agent soon :: rebell against opression ::

I have Social Level 5 and Charisma 15, my Level 3 Agent came quite quickly, but after doing over 30 missions for her I still have no referrals :(

Same here, I got my lvl3 after only 19 missions (or was it 39), don't know, anyway, I got her directly from a lvl1 so I have no lvl2 agent yet. And now I have done 80 missions for the lvl3 and 60 for the lvl1 and still no other agents. Now I am stuck at 6.00 corp rating, it does not increase any more.
For another corp with another faction I got about 1 new agent / 2-3 missions, quickly had 8+ agents (don't count them any more) from the same corp in the same region, all lvl1 :-( There my corp rating is stuck at 2.00
Does anybody have any ideas why they don't increase? It could be faction, the first corp is gallente, the second amarr. And doing missions for gallente lowers amarr faction rating and vice versa so I now have 1.30 with Gallente and 0.82 with Amarr. But that only is a possibility, if anybody has other ideas please post them.
PS: The corp where I got from lvl1 directly to lvl3 does not have any other lvl1 or lvl2 agents in this region, only lvl3+, I think that is the reason why I got directly to the lvl3.

Could everyone give the agent standings when talking about when they got their agent? Theres personal standing, corporation and faction. ____________________________________ Taggart wants YOU. Join TTi! *waves his hand in your face in the jedi way* |

I am not sure but as far as I can remember the personal rating was "good" and the corp rating somewhere between 0.5 and 1.1. Faction was very low, in the range of 0.1-0.5 I think. My guess is that faction only plays a role for getting agents from other corps or maybe when docking and that for getting new agents from the same corp only personal and corp standing count although I can't say how imporant they are. From now on I will write down (and include in my posts) my standing every time I get a new agent, it would really be interesting to do some research about this.

I had been doing a lot of missions for level 1 agents. Became quite annoying really. Did over 200 missions without getting a level 2 one. Then I noticed that my standings towards the agents corp raised with each mission until they get to 2.0. Then they stop. So I accepted a mission for one agent and waited it out. Once it expired my standings dropped to 1.88. I then completed 3 more missions and got myself a nice level 2 agent.
So if your agent isn't raising your standings towards his corp anymore then fail one mission and do a few missions. Works like a charm. |

This sounds very much like the -10 security status bug.
(Pirates with -10 could attack/pod people at will. Since they didn't lose faction with sentry gun owners as faction was capped, sentry guns ignored their actions.
Edit: A way to do this w/o adding to your "failed" mission count would be to go outside and blow up a convoy belonging to the corp you're running an agent for. ---------------- Blue Screen of Death CEO Exodus Enterprises |

To get better agents did you do all missions to same agent or did you switch to a new lvl1 agent when one contacted you?
I have been doing 30+ missions for same agent and got so far 2 lvl1 agents.
And can someone explain what does ratings in agent quality field mean?
Thanks

Do all missions for the same agent or an agent in the same corp if you want a level 2 agent quickly. As far as I can tell you get a level 2 agent when your corp standings reach 2.0 so pick your corp and stick with it.
I think the agents quality should mean how much money you get for each mission but I haven't noticed a difference
