The items hangar is a totally mess for me!
U doesnÆt know what items u have there, and u got tons of stuffà (In my case)
This is really annoying!
But if u could create your own folders in the item hangar, u could sort all your items,

ôWeaponsö
ôTrashö
ôStuff to recycleö

This would really help!
Anyone agree with me?

Yeah that would be a nice idea to have i hate having all of that loot and stuff hang arond in my hanger. May be with a newer patch it will work..

Why don't you just buy four or five containers (secure or normal) from the market, and use those as your folders??
Its not too difficult, i have that set-up in my hanger...
I use 3 medium containers for equipment
1 x Hi-power items
1 x Med-power
1 x lo-power
and I have a large can for putting minerals/ore/ammo in. this keeps my hanger v.tidy and i can easy find anything i need.

My guess is that it might be difficult to implement because you basically have a hangar in every station. However, if it can be implemented, how about the ability to buy extra hangars. Somewhat like offices/corp hangars.
Keep looking for those isk sinks.

Nice idea, about paying for it again, they should charge for most things in th game. Its not like a new player with little money has that much stuff anyway and by the time they do collect enough, they can afford to hire extra hangers out

I would love to be able to have a couple sub folders in my hangar, like the corp hangers have.
Heck, just a "Stuff I want to Recycle" and a "Gear I actually use" division would do wonders.

I think allowing us to create "filter tabs" in our station inventory would go a long way in making things easier. That way we can choose what we want to see or not to see.
The main view being "All", right click on the top of the inventory window. Select "Add Filter", select (check) items from a pop-up box for your view (could be tied into market categories). Click "Ok" to finalize the new filter. Doesn't sound like a bad idea.
Then there would be the "Edit Filter" and "Delete Filter" options.

Container use would be good if you could rename them... but having a tabbed hanger would be even better.
I too would pay for this.

The solution is already in the game:
Open "Assets" and you will see you can view your hangar by Ships, Charges, etc etc.

Yah... nice Joshua... but it doesnt allow you to sort the items how YOU want...
ie I dont want my recyclable trash in with my good stuff for example. If for example I personally have umpteen bps it takes forever to load in the factory... all things like this cry out for a method to seperate your kit.

well the asset isnÆt the same thing.. ok it sort the stuff for u, but u cant make your own folders etc.. Absolutely not the same thing, it doesnÆt make things easier..
And the containers could work.. but again u have to search for the right container to get what u want :P

In the last CSM chat the player-owned space hangar is one of things mentioned to come soon[TM]
Would be useful for those who want to have their own base but can't quite afford whole spacestation... :s

right now all I can do is sort out stuff into cargo containers, but it would be very nice to have a page system under the items window.

Oh yeah one thing that would help is if we could rename containers as well... it would make things a LOT easier to find what you are looking for.

I seem to recall that one of the Devs in one of the CSMs was suprised that you couldn't rename containers. He said it was a bug and that it would be fixed if I remember right.
