Does anyone know why when I compare my Brutix I have a max powergrid of 1406.3 and ones I see on battleclinic have max of 1546.88? Like this one? Brutix
I do have level 5 engineering. I don't know what I'm missing here.
Please help - thanks in advance. |

The medium ancillary current router rig is boosting PG.
Also I believe when he says 'geno set' he's referring to the genolution core implant set which also boosts CPU and PG. I've never used battleclinics fit posting so I don't know if it takes implants into consideration. You should be aware that you may, well probably will need the set to make the fit work since he mentions it. |

Weapon Upgrades lowers weapon CPU need by 5% per level. Advanced Weapon Upgrades lowers weapon Powergrid need by 2% per level. Change isn't bad, but it isn't always good. Sometimes, the oldest and most simple of things can be the most elegant and effective. |

Neither of the skills listed above actually raise powergrid.
OP: Note that one of those rigs is an ancillary current router, which gives +10% PG. 1403 (your PG) * 1.1 is almost exactly 1546.88
Pretty sure that's the difference you're seeing. |

I suggest you use EFT, and input your character to test fits prior to building them online. |

There is only one skill that increases raw PG, and he has it at V. |

True. But like you and others said, there are rigs to increase PG, modules to increase PG, and implants to increase PG. Putting it into EFT is generally a good idea, as it lets you test the fit before buying modules and installing rigs.

As mentioned above in this case it is the Rig that is providing the extra powergrid. Certain implants will also provide more powergrid when needed.

Slot 6 implants are well worth a look. 3% CPU is good for ships you want to shield tank, and 3% PG is good for armor tanked ships (in general). Most people asking in this forum section aren't aware they exist.
