was in beta, was on luanch day (or as soon as the store had a copy to sell at any rate) and was in zero space ninja mining. Sure I am a vet just have not been playing the full 2 years since that day

id say rollback, tho i was in last beta, but iv played off an on since then, first year was the best miss it. ninja minin,rollback-crappy isk they gave us for a days work lost

Pretty much. What matters is that you're playing a game you enjoy :). If you want to be given a stupid title for playing the game for a while, play Everquest 2 :p.

I played a bit in Beta.
After it went live I had to stop playin' cuz I didn't had the money to play.
Restart playing in december '03
that might not be enough to be a veteran, but sure I've been arround for a a while now

If the definition is 'played beta' am I a vet then?
I played beta, I was there at armageddon day, and the day after I quit. I just couldn't pay for EVE off the allowance I got back then. 3.5 months ago, I came back. New account, new chars. Am I a vet then?

Alpha of course. 
But, from a more generous perspective, I'd say anyone from beta or first month of release are true vets.

I remember the forums during the memory leak... better yet, I remember the live chat site where you could talk to the Dev during alpha and beta testing. Now that was cool.
Been playing since Dec 24, 2002 non-stop.

When you think your a vet come out the .0 and see if you truely are one ;p. If your already in .0 then maybe would be vet, if you didn't have to ask.
When you become a vet, you will know.
BTW beta limited but cool. Duel MWD Battleships those were the days.

well i kept tabs on eve when the site first went live as someone linked it saying it looked good, i joined in november 2003 i think, so im old, but i would not say vet, if i had joined when i found eve i definatl would be, and regret not joining when it went live

Bah, if Beta is the criteria then I should get a Vet tag too. Played in Beta then came back only this September after University.
