Greetings. I know that there are other threads out there for Dominix setups, but with the RMR expansion and the significant number of changes to all sorts of whatnot, I thought maybe I could get a discussion on a good Dominix RMR setup for ratting in 0.0. I'll start with my own.
6 X Dual 250 'Scout' Rails
1 AB (some named don't recall) 1 Langor Webber 1 Sensor Booster 2 X Cap Recharger
2 X Capacitor Power Relay 1 X 1600MM Rolled Tungsten 3 X Armor Hardener (rat specific) 1 X Large Accomodation Armor Rep
5 drones, usually Ogres and Wasps and just sick them on whatever is closest.
If anyone has any suggestions on what might give me better performance, please let me know, or just share your own setups. Also, I have about 3.5M Skill Points, but probably screwed those up pretty good cause they are all over the place. I do have Drones 5, Drone spec 5, Engineering 5, Electronics 5, and other assorted skills. So far I havent had much trouble getting through multiple BS spawns, but wouldnt mind it being faster. Thanks for the look around and again, let me know what you other Dominix fans are fitting to your lovable tubs.

this setup owns:
3xHeavy Nos 3xMedium Guns (the guns don't really matter just throw in whatever deals the best racial damage) 100mn AB II, 4x Cap IIs LAR II 5xrat specific hardners 1xCPR this thing is like npcing on easy mode
I go against sanshas and on a tripple spawn (even the tyrants) I don't need my rep full time to stay at near 100% armor.

HIGH-SLOTS : ~~~~~~~~~~~~ - Dual 250mm Carbide Railgun I x 5 - Empty Slot
MED-SLOTS : ~~~~~~~~~~~~ - Barton Reactor x 5 (or better if you can afford)
LOW-SLOTS : ~~~~~~~~~~~~ - Large Armor Repairer II - Rat specific armor hardener x 4 - Capacitor Power Relay I - Capacitor Power Relay I (if you cant keep it all running at once, else add another hardener)
Berserker Drones Medium Drones x 5 Light Drones x 5
Keep that tank running for ever... it's really very important to be able to do this when NPCing especially in 0.0.

PS No need for the sensor booster really tbh. ---

3x Heavy Diminishing Nosferatu 1x Tracking Beam 1x Remote Medium Solace repairer 1x Dread Guristas Cloaking Device (Had a spare slot, needed to put something in there, might get handy if I run into some nasty ppl)
1x 100mn AB II 4x Cap Recharger II
2x Large Armor Repairer II 2x Hardner 1x RCU II 2x Cap Power Relay
and a ****load of drones :)
should work just fine with T1 and cheaper mods :)

A couple of drone mods are now avialable and cheap. Try using those. Theres the high slot one that increases range and has no stacking penalty. Fit 3 and your drones have a range of 80km. Thers a mid slot one that increases drone firing range and tracking fit a couple of those in mids and drones do even better damage
On a domi, guns should only be your secondary weapon. With good bship and drone ships, all npcs should be a cakewalk with a domi

I think i heard someone say that nos is useless against rats, or has this changed post-patch, me not being in the know when it comes to npcing? JW as im thinking about buying one of these to hunt with as my drone skills are decent, wars dont come cheap

before patch nos was pointless on rats. now NOS hurts the rats tank and the rats now have a cap that regenerates over time, so you get useable cap off of it.

I know, but I was looking for input from all over and I hate to sound like a total noob in alliance chat. especially since I have been playing since beta. Just new changes in Dominix and Drones has made me wonder if my old tried and true strategy was worth sticking with or if there are faster and safer ways of chewing through those battleships out there in 0.0.
My other option is to refit a Mega, but from my experience, the Mega is a VERY skill intensive ship and in the wrong hands, can cost you a lot of ISK. The Domi seems to be at least a little bit more forgiving and allows for a bit more flexibility.
Awsome suggestions though. I might look into getting a couple of those NOS on my boat to see how that works. So far it has been suggested that I lose the sensor booster. Any thoughts on the 1600 plate or the rest of my setup?

My secret wtfpwn setup... shhh don't tell anyone
Hi: 5 tech II heavy nuetrons 1 heavy nos (named)
Mid: Web Cap Booster 2 x cap II rechargers AB (spend alot of isk and buy a 150+%)
Low: Cap power relay 2 x large armor rep II 4 x armor hardners
Can't run everything forever, but who the hell cares? Pack 12 800 charges, the rest ammo and go to town. This setup smokes all lvl 4 missions.

I have a noobish setup here, pls point out the where it falls apart... not doing lvl4s atm-
High: 5x HNOS, 1xTurret Med: Passive Hardeners 1xEM, 1xTH, 1xActiveTH, 1xCAP R T1, T2 LShBooster. Low: 6 x Power Diagnostics T1, 1x Damage Control
This setup gives a reasonably good cap recharge, can run the Shield booster almost indefinately (with NOS no problem). Cap is around 6072/435 recharge. Shield something 6000/1000 sec. My powergrid is way over the top. I've used around 10000 and have 4000 grid still available. Cpu is running at 97%.
My usual tactic is to aggro the npc with the turret and then deploy the heavy drones. I only have around 3.3mil xp and 1.5 of those in Learning.
Everyone is doing armor tanking, but I wanted something different...

If you have 4000 extra grid, I would remove as many of those pd's as possible. I have heard around that any setup that requires more than 1 pdu is a bad setup. You and I have a similar number of skillpoints though, so perhaps I may be mistaken.
