For the love of god can you let me play it!
Its been a week now and I haven't been able to get a good game. It has either been exceptionally laggy (5 seconds+ latency) or I can't log in at all. Even now I am sitting at a black screen for the last 5 minutes telling me I am logging in.
Oh and I don't know if this is normal but I had a worm blueprint and it vanished after the patch. I tried to make a petition but I get an error message once I filled it out.

It's not normal, i'd try to pention it again now.
And you really need to hop out of the really populated areas if space.

Took me 8 minutes to get in. I have jumped to a system where are are only 4 other people. I have 6 second lag and clicking on skills (as my skill has completed) shows me absolutly nothing. I had to log out and wait again to see it. :(

its probably on your end. bring up the task manager and shut down any background programs, then scan your computer for viruses...if you havent already...and de frag your computer too. i have the same kind of problem with mine but on a smaller scale. and all that helps ^. also, see how many people are playing before you log in. you might want to log in when there arent that many people.

I feel for you, cant say anything about the BPC but once you file a petition the GMs should be nice enough to give you it back.
I'm guessing your in a central system, I'd recomend getting away from the crowds as the lag only comes when there are too many peeps in the same systems. I'm sure if everyone dispersed evenly there wouldnt be a problem.

Not my machine at all. I have a top of the range brand new Dell XPS. I can run a MMORPG, CS:Source and a DVD at the same time without and lag normally and I'm running only Eve at the moment.
There is something seriously wrong with New Caldari at the moment. I am trying to pass through it and it is taking a minute in lag.

Give it a few days, it's just bad timing as with the patch and all. Big patches like the one deployed last week almost always make the game unplayable for a few days. Give it another go later this week or over the holidays maybe.

A lot of the new trialists must be getting a really bad picture of what EVE is like.
The *busy* systems are always a little laggy, but never this bad.
If you really like the game but think the lag issues are going to put you off, I would suggest taking a break until after the RMR teething problems are sorted out and take another trial then.
Getting away from the the 50-300 player systems is the first step to reducing lag. I have been playing the last 3 days (in empire) during these "omg waaah lag" complaints without *any issues*

I got stuck in New Caldari yesterday. Took me a couple hours to get out. I didn't have any lag anywhere else. Move to another system and see if your still having troubles. Or make an alt if you cant log in, somewhere other than where your main is.

0.0 is as laggy as Empire, try crossing 4GQ now
