In principle, I entirely agree. You got the kill, why should you have to go through extra hassle to get the spoils of the conflict? What would make more sense though would be to allow tractor beams to work on other people's stuff - it'd make for some hilarious incidents too!

I'm a miner and I don't like the current can flagging. It makes sense if you intentionally deploy or jet a can, since it is your property and you are there. Anything that comes off a popped ship should follow standard salvage rights. The person who recovers the goods is the owner.
I've been through a few of the Aunenen camps, but only the sniping set ups. Never seen any tanking camps, but I'm sure they are there. Also, whomever is dumb enough to warp through despite repeated messages in local along the lines of "Aunenen gate is camped with like 10 BSs" earned the right to a new clone. -- TCSyn (in game) Casino with slots & blackjack. When you loose a ship to npc's the loot is still yours - why should it not be yours when another player kills your ship? Just a thought... Tractors should work on all cans....
