Well i think a dev said that the bungy thingy was a feature. So i guess we should be happy when we bungy 4-6 times every jumpgate :)
Happy happy joy joy!
Playing this game gets less and less fun every day.

I know originally EVE was designed to have one gameworld....but I notice lag issues when server population starts creeping up around 5K. When I logged on earlier today and server pop was around 2500, gameplay was reasonably good (well, as good as it ever is, game always seems a little laggy to me). When the population chugged up to about 5700 a couple hours ago, the performance issues started.
Has CCP ever revised the pop limit for a healthy server? Maybe a second server is needed. It also might make sense for them to have a couple servers in different parts of the world if they want to grow their subscriber base. The bugs will eventually get worked out, but I hate latency.

It's Sunday. It's lag-day. Just like it is virtually every Sunday (you may get lucky depending on what region you're in). Suck it up and move on people.

If you notice it's getting worse and there's LESS people online so that thoery goes out the window. It appears to be more time based. The longer the 'optomized ' servers are up the worse it gets. With less then 4k online ive dropped twice while still playing client side. It just took a while to drop out on the server side.
Things have certainly changed. The servers are able to handle less every week. Perhaps its all the new code or as suggested before they no longer are paying for that huge pipe they once had set-up to handle the 10's of 1000's of subscribers. Seeing as it gets worse the longer it's up I'd say they have quite the leak as well.

Unfortunately I usually CTD before I'm able to experience any lag. Is that good or bad? Meh.. there is hope.
