1. CCP:If there is nothing wrong with Tempest why so many complaints? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Yeah, I broke down a couple weeks ago and have been using megapulses on my Typhoon as well. They work great! Vaneth, What I was trying to say is that the reload issue was not specific to projectiles. Of course, no one likes reload, but if projec...

7. CCP:If there is nothing wrong with Tempest why so many complaints? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
My take on the problem is also projectiles... The only decent damage situation you are going to find in Tempest is firing dual 650's or 800's at about 10km at a barely moving target. Projectiles have tremendous falloff, but relatively low optim...

9. 800mm Repeating Artillery are useless! - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I agree, there is almost no value in mounting an 800. I only throw em on when I have grid left over. Recommendation: might as well just use the 650's and save grid for siege launchers or a 2nd large armor repair. In addition to balancing between...

11. Ship Power Output vs. Module Power Need - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
If oversized modules / afterburners are so game imbalancing, or if they don't fit the "vision", just set a variable to prevent them from being used on too small a ship frame. ie. you get a message that says, "Your ship's hull is not big enough to ...

13. Multifrequency VS Radio - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Randay, Optimal range is not going to affect your ability to hit, but your ability to do optimal damage for the weapon / ammo / lense. You might have gotten the impression that Radio is hitting better at X range than Multi, but it could have bee...

15. Blaster Cannon Tracking - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Your understanding is good Krugari, flying outward from the target does nothing for transversal, which is why that slasher took a crippling hit even tho it was moving fast.

17. Blaster Cannon Tracking - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
This is just the nature of the beast with the short range large weapons. For a moving / smaller target, the optimal range for damage is not the optimal range to hit. I have the same problems with the large "autocannon" style projectile artillery. ...
