What is going to happen with them? Do they work now? Will they ever work? If not when will they be removed? So many questions so little time :)

I checked some locations pointed in pirate logs in Curse ( it was shortly before RMR ) and found nothing... I'm curious too about them

The locations are not directly at the position in the log. (eg. Warp-In to Moon XX of Planet Y in System Z)
you got to use your scaner before finding the location and then you will be disappointed.
Maybe they have added some more spice in RMR.
BTW: if you want to get rid of em, i'll buy em.

I have heard that the complexes they take you to were all removed in Cold War. I haven't checked this out yet, so treat it as a rumor.

CCP didnt remove any complexes...
They used to point to Static Spawns that you could find near moons or planets but those where indeed released when Cold War came out, the logs got modified when RMR came out though.

An official word from CCP would be nice. I am all for variety and i'd love to see these return (unfortunately when i started playing, logs were disabled already). I have heard myself that they were removed because people were complaining about "easy cash" made from these logs. I don't know what i should believe, please enlighten us CCP.
