He messed up, the pilot is suppost to be in a POD, hence the whole premise of death and rebirth in the game.

Yeah, I love CAD, and I'll admit that Tim is even the reason I gave EVE a try... But that comic just isn't very funny. Doesn't quite hit a punchline. Still love CAD, though.

Ok it is sorta funny if you read it on a regular basis. Ethan the pilot is a d3wd and sort of an arse. Who would space his cargo at a base and be ****ed for not completing the mission. Even though he technically brought the people to the base.
