Edited by: Istvaan Shogaatsu on 24/12/2005 01:13:03 Before RMR, killing one of the bigger NPC battleships in a level 4 mission gave 0.8 security rating boost; now they barely give over 0.2 - nobody asked for this stealth nerf, so why is it in place? Isn't regenerating security status difficult enough?
And before you suggest I try an 0.0 belt, I'm surrounded by high sec systems in a lower security pocket so the option isn't really available to me right now, and the only way for me to fix my sec is by doing L4s. Now I have to suffer for days pounding level 4 missions just to get back to a tolerable security status.
Pls restore the NPCs sec rating boosts to pre-RMR levels. We don't need more drudgery in this game.

it seems the devs are trying to make 0.0 rating much better than lvl 4s, the sec boost in 0.0 is alot better.

Ahh, hmmm, what system might that be, Shogaatsu? Perhaps I might come pay a visit sometime... and discuss the manners of your puppet.

I talked to Oveur about it and he said the change is probably accidental, as they had no plans to change anything of the sort.

Just take a pod and leave. Concord will not destroy your Pod, so you can move to whatever low sec system you want.
Sides, .8 sec gain IS DRASTICALLY too much of an increase for any non-Titan sized ship, mission or no mission. It could lead to 3.2 Sec status gain an hour, which would completely undermine the entire "penalties" for attacking/podding other players.
In otherwords, stop being a whinning carebear

So far as I can tell, I'm not getting any sec status boost from killing lvl 3 deadspace rats. I can run missions for 3 hours and see not a single sec status gain. If I get an encounter (i.e., not deadspace) mission, then I get a sec boost.

Take a pod and leave. That's good. Do you have any clue who I am?

The plan is clearly flawless. I mean what could possible go wrong? It's not like he's a well-known and hated player with a huge bounty on his head with people willing to pay hundreds of millions for his corpse or anything.

Hmm, would that be: Target #1 on more lists than there are corporations in EVE? I would gladly let concord rip any ship I have apart just to see that pod pop. And then scoop the corpse and sell it for megaISK.

Read that original post again. "0.8 security rating boost". That doesn't seem odd to you at all?
It was a bug, it was never intended to give 0.8 and it was fixed. Just like the 0.4 ones that people used to chain.
