[33] You can basically make a drone for nearly every type of module. I like these ideas. I hope some of them can be implemented. Right now Drones in PvP are dumb...they really only destract your opponent for 1-2 seconds. 800k destraction when 8 Ogre drones get destroyed by 2 missiles...                     |

[35] I like the repair drone idea, would be good if you could order them to repair you gang members ships as well. |

Each drone can manage a certain "mass" and/or volume. So, for bigger item (just like ships), you need 6 or 8 drones. Again, different models of those drones should be available (varying speed, managable mass, etc ...) |

[42] Edited by: Malmanus Jux on 10/04/2007 04:53:13 I like the idea of tractor drones or maybe call them retreiver drones the difference is one actually grabs the object a flys back with it while the tractor drone uses a small modified tractor beem able to tractor small cans and wrecks. As far as the more suicide style drones why not ones that become beacons for missles or tracking that cancel out ecm module effects by locking on to the hull of a enemy ship.these can also be used in tandum with remote sensor linking. They might even make FOF missles have a higher tendacy to track its target. Only problem is that the drone tacks splash damage as he ship gets hit. But maybe if there are no EW effects on your ships tracking or targeting your drone takes more damage since its a more precise beacon its gonna get hit.an why have a courier drone when you can have a retriever drone that can carry a deployed can drone to a target. I would be nice for miners so that you dont have to waste a high slot on a tractor beam to pull your can behind you. |
