I haven't played for1+ year but remember there used to be actual mining missions from Agents in the Mining division. Get me X tritanium or Y Veldspar. Do these still exist? I haven't seen any since I've been back.

no, these are gone, which makes me sad 
i used to make a TON of ISK off these, guess thats why they removed them

I think they are gone till i got this mission...
Ok first of all I'll need a large batch of dense veldspar, around 14 portions should do, with each portion size being
333 units. You will probably find veldspar in one of the asteroid fields in Colelie, if not then try a neighboring system.
If you're fast, I'll even get a bonus and of course I'll split it with you.
But it's a Cosmos agent so you prolly can only do it once..

They stil exist, but instead of asking for ore they ask you for minerals.
Since most people buy the minerals directly off the market, its often seen as a trading mission rather than mining.

Never turn down the minerals for the War effort mission :)
Especialy the level 4 version :) No matter what, or you'll regret it!

manufacturing and marketing agents have them id say 10% of the time.

From my experience with the Mining Division in Minedrill (current corporation standing 1.30), I have recieve three missions which have requested a decent amount of Isogen to help clone some corporate yahoo. So they still do exist, but I was hoping the Mining Divisions would have more of this type of mission overall, instead just abnormalities from the courier missions.
