Hi, Please someone help with this!!!
I've loaded onto a new comp, and there appears to be a conflict. I can get into the game okay, but everytime I do something, it triggers Aura and she simply won't go away! I even filed a Harrasement Petition against her! I click her off and answer no everytime - I've gone to the ESC menu and turned Tutorial off, but as soon as I close the window it resets back on.
I've checked my comp and all files my files are NOT read only! I've done everything the GM's said to do inclusive of reloading the game twice now - nothing seems to make her go away!
I heard that one of the denizens of Jita was having the same problem. Every docking, departure from station, jump though gate, switch of ship - Everything activates her! All the chat boxes also clear! HELP!!!! I'm scared to go to bed for fear that she will be there too!

Maybe my post and the other post confirming the same problem wern't clear - We did that!!! The failure is in the game to accept those command prompts. The ESC menu is not capturing changes requested by the player.

I see that the other guy with the same problem has bought the "its your comp" story from someone - I refuse to believe it! This is a problem that is a bug with the game and needs to be addressed fast! As I understand that the issue has rose with other people since the last patch - there may indeed be a fast answer!
Read the Cache thread!

I appreciate the help, the above solutions have all been attempted - unfortunately - NO GO!
I've resubmitted my problem through the "Ask a Question" and have been advised that potentially I will have a solution in 48 + hours.
We'll see - at least they won't be giving out party hats for New Years like they did snowballs for christmas - will they?

No one has told me it's my damn computer. I needed a new graphics card because of the fact that my old one was overheating/broken. This problem had nothing to do with that.

OK you've probably done this, but run the logserver and submit that as part of your bug report. That way they know how what you are doing on your end is working/not working. I hope that you've already been asked to do it. When I had problems I just couldn't resolve, that plus dxdiag plus a petition/bug report got a custom solution from CCP's specialists that actually worked for me.
If you've already done, that, well, that is the only other thing I know to do :P

It worked for me but only after rstarting EVE. So uncheck tutorial, close EVE, start EVE - no Aura anymore.

Aura is hot. I wouldn't mind sticking my 1 in her 0.

I had a similar problem a few months back - EVE wouldn't save any changes or settings made in game. I was advised to check my computer clock. It was showing the wrong year; once I fixed the clock setting, everything worked fine again.
