Edited by: Seidr on 01/06/2006 10:57:13 I'm afraid EVE on a PSP is out of the question, unless the client can be squeezed into less than 30mb of RAM space(for 1.0/1.5), or less than 15mb(for 2.0+, using the eLoader). I'm actually working on a 2D(soon to be top-down 3D) MMO for the PSP, it's a really funky little system :)
edit: one other reason why it just won't work without scaling, the PSP can't handle huge vertex arrays without lagging like crazy. I found this out when I exported a 30k vertex model, and tryed to render it on the PSP. Framerate dropped to about 2.5fps, but it sure did look pretty ;)

Couldn't you just use something like VNC? I remember seeing a application for it on a hacked firmware...

There are programs out there to create your own custom firmware, but I would want to brick my PSP.

If you know what you are doing, you won't brick your PSP. Even if you do brick your PSP, you can exchange it out at best buy for a new one.
