Destroy all ad cans... yes, the ones that litter and LAAAAG all the gates. Lets use the billboard like it is supposed to be used. Have people fly in range, pay a fee, and have their ad there for 1 week... perhaps the billboard cycles 10 ads, with a list of 50 others in line behind... as one ad expires a new one is placed. only 1 ad allowed per corp per billboard... NPC corp peeps are SOL.

Excellent idea. However, does someone have to look at each submitted image to see that it is appropriate and etc, or is it an automatted procress like making a corp logo?

Yeah, those cans aren't good for anything but lag. I have Secure cans removed from my overview... am I wrong to suspect most people do? They're useless for advertising, all they do is take up space.

As long as we're on the topic, I wish there was a way to filter in my secure cans and filter out everyone elses.

When your mining a riod belt, it's real hard to find your own can in amongst everyone else's.

Signed. As for the image review issue, just put the corp logo on the billboard and run the ad message in one of those tickers, like on the bounty announcements.

Bump bump bump! Please say no to can spam! Either kill the cans, or maybe just limit the number of charcters on cans to 10 or less.
If you had to have can spam make a billboard item that can be purchased (should be priced based on how long it lasts.) deployed that has a limited life say 24 hours and only one per corp can be deployed in a system.
If that is not possible then rental space on the billboards would be nice.
Or how about being able to add a symbol/text to the outside of the ships.

/signed... or at least make container not open in the last month slowly degrade itself so out of date ads will disappear quick...
