FW or RvB. FW will usually get you fights although the number of farmers is ridiculous. Hooray, I'm l33t! -á(Kil2: "The higher their ship losses...the better they're going to be.") |

Yep, faction warfare regions. You will die a lot so go T1 frigates. Unless you have an independent income stream you will need to actually do the faction warfare thing to earn some iskies.
A PvP Corp is a good idea. Solo is far from dead. This weekend I have had seven solo kills with many more fights (surprisingly no losses). This character is six months old and I've been in and out of low for much of that - not impossible by any stretch. Both individuals and corporations can be enlisted in faction warfare. If you enlist as an individual you will be put into the NPC faction warfare corp.
Player-run faction warfare corps also exist (this is what you want). When you check out the corp info you will see it is allied with one of the factions. Hooray, I'm l33t! -á(Kil2: "The higher their ship losses...the better they're going to be.") |

Regarding medical clones, your selected station cannot be taken in lowsec as it can in sov null. Create insta-undock bookmarks and you'll be fine (no bubbles either).
Figure out where you want to fight on dotlan and then check the local lowsec market for bulk hull purchases. You can often find a few dozen of your favourite in the area. The modules etc are relatively easy to shift from a hub.
Try cruisers if you want but I still recommend T1 frigates. Your concern about "wtf just happened!" is certainly valid since frigate fights are pretty quick.
I strongly recommend FRAPS or similar video capture software so you can review at your leisure. It helps enormously, especially if you have your combat log window visible during recording. Hooray, I'm l33t! -á(Kil2: "The higher their ship losses...the better they're going to be.") |

Vartan Sarkisian wrote:From what I gather the days of good solo pvp are gone (if indeed they ever existed). I live in Null and last night one of our FCs took a small frig gang out of a roam, 57 jumps later in null sec we found a Falcon on gate and engaged it, he cynoGÇÖd in about 30 or 40 ships, Nagas, Dramiels, Hugins the lot, all for an 8 man frig gang.
In Null sec you may find the occasional solo PVP, but generally small gangs or bubbled gate camps which as you say are yawn for the solo pvper
I low sec you maybe better off shooting suspects or criminals, unless you donGÇÖt care about the standing fit.
Last night we did travel through a few FW systems near rens, there seems to be lots of suspects and criminals (and other players in general) there, so that maybe the better option.
What? So solo is dead because your GANG got hot dropped?
Come and play in lowsec. Plenty of solo PvP. I am not particularly skilled and this character is not old and yet has plenty of solo kills: http://eve.battleclinic.com/killboard/combat_record.php?type=player&name=Zappity Hooray, I'm l33t! -á(Kil2: "The higher their ship losses...the better they're going to be.") |

Looks like you're doing it right to me. I got to about 70 losses before things started working the way I wanted. Get FRAPS and record your fights. Hooray, I'm l33t! -á(Kil2: "The higher their ship losses...the better they're going to be.") |
