Hi all,
forgive me its been a while and I been reading around but still unsure of best way to go.
From what I can tell I have done the Data Centres in Caldari space as I just been there and none have missions for me. I am currently on 6.34 standing with Caldari, I want to get to 7.0+
I think I started COSMOS but unsure and looking for a guide again, and I am about to go over the repair plan but it always looked very confusing.
I did try and do the sisters of eve arc once but remember being attacked while trying to get to the station, I have bad standing with Gallente and Minmatar.
My current standings are:
Cladari: 6.34 Amarr: 3.95 Gallente: -5.94 Minmatar: -3.49
I done alot of damage before realising I needed the standing. Do the people selling standing increase via missions running only supply Corp standing, or will the storyline missions become available as well (Bearing in mind as this is a payed service I will be afk in a station)
Any advice would be great! |

Only the person who accepts the missions will get the storyline (and hence the faction standing increase) so you can't actually pay for faction standings. You can run the SoE arc if you're quick to warp off (faction navies don't scram, just web). You can also find a Gal/Min agent in Amarr/Caldari space (and there are plenty) and start grinding yourself.
Otherwise, do go and digest DMC's plan. It's still the best thing out there for fixing faction standings and he maintains it well. |

Bad but not extremely bad. The standings repair plan touted above will help. You have to get Gallente above -5.0 to avoid getting chased and shot in Gallente space, and above -2.0 with the Minmatar to be able to do anything higher than L1 missions. If you don't want to follow "the plan", for whatever reason, here is what I would suggest.
I would start with those Minmatar standings. You only need to raise them by 1.49 which comes out to an 11% gain (slightly more than that). I would seriously consider doing 64 L1 missions for a Minmatar NPC corp. That should be easy in a day or two and will give you 4 storyline missions that easily could boost your Minmatar faction standings to -2.0. After that you will be able to access higher level missions for Minmatar NPC corps (assuming you have the standings with one of their NPC corps and/or agents).
Keep doing higher level missions and storylines for the Minmatar and not only will you quickly get into positive territory with them, your Gallente standings will get a boost, too, because the Gallente like the Minmatar. You only need a relatively small bump from -5.94 to -5.0 whence the Gallente police will no longer hunt you down and shoot you.
tl;dr Your standings aren't bad enough to go all out with The Plan, focus on Minmatar missions including a couple of days of L1 missions and moving up from there. Playing a couple hours a day for a week should get you back in good graces with the Gallente and Minmatar. |

Thanks!
Would I need to do the "Sea Saw" effect to keep my other standings up, as when I get Min and Gall standings wont my Amarr and Cal go down slightly?
Thanks!

No need to do that kinda thing for quite long time since you have so high standings with the others, just focus at start helping minnies and gallentes. You need to start considering the sawing effect when they are rouhgly at same levels, then you can start travelling around space helping all the factions in turns, but as said thats long time in the future. |

Guess I should probably jump in here now.
Those who keep knocking 'The Plan' don't really understand it and probably think it's a step by step walk-through guide. It's not, even though it could be used as one, especially if you've been constantly running missions for Thukker Tribe.
You don't have to work every single Event Agent or do every step listed in it. 'The Plan' is designed and intended to be customized to fit your specific situation.
Now you've already stated you want Caldari up to +7.00 or higher standing. Hopefully that's still your goal. Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems you don't really care too much about Gallente or Minmatar standing right now. If that's the case then there's no reason to work their event agents.
Probably the first thing to do is definitely make sure you've completed all of the Caldari Event Agents listed in 'The Plan'. That includes the Caldari level 4 Epic Arc which can be completed once every 3 months for a large Faction standing increase.
Now I know the amount of standing gain from the low level Event Agents is small, but every little bit helps. Hopefully you've already trained up Connections level 5 to increase your current effective standing and Social level 5 to increase the amount of standing gained for completing missions.
If you've already completed all Caldari Event Agents and you're waiting 3 months to once again access the Caldari level 4 Epic Arc, then start working the Amarr Event Agents to gain derived standing increases to Caldari. That will take you up to +7.00 Caldari standing. After that, no more derived standings will be gained so no need to continue working Amarr Event Agents, unless you want too.
In the Standing Relationships link, The 'In-Game Inter-Faction Relationships' graph is read from the top down. The 'Derived Inter-Faction Standing Modifier' graph is read from left to right.
Good luck to you and if you have any questions, feel free to post them in the 'Faction Standing Repair Plan' thread.

OP You haven't mentioned whether you have the skill diplomacy skill trained - if you don't have it (or have it at a low level) you will find by training it a few levels that your -5.94 standing to Gallente which gets you shot at will increase to well above -5.0 meaning you won't get shot when you try to do the Caldari and SoE Epic Arcs which should easily put you past the 7.0 standing you require.
Another thing you could do is have a look at whether you have done the Amarr Datacore centre yet - they will give a deferred increase to your Caldari standings.
You've mentioned Cosmos but not being sure what you have done - here again if you want a fresh start do the Amarr Cosmos for the deferred standing.
I'm sure these are all listed in DMC's guide but those are the quickest ways off the top of my head for u to get your increase in standing, tbh if you got a single +9.375% (?) SL it would probably give you the required faction standiing increase, 6.34 to 7 isnt far at all |
