Hello all,
I'm very new to the game, but I am not clear about the repercussions for podding pirates. Is it OK everywhere, only in certain security zones, what?
Anything else that should be considered when podding a pirate/low-security individual?

If he's only low-security you will be considered an aggressor and can be freely attacked for 15 min by anyone.

NO podding pirates is BAD, do not ever pod or even shoot a pirate!

nice one with the god of the pirates ;)
anyways - a pirate is only taken as one if his security status is below -5.0
if so, then pod him.
if not, then u get a sec status penalty,
but if hes agressed, then u can pod him, too.

You cant pod a pirate unless his -5.0 or in -0.0. Even if he podded you and was on your kill list, you can only blow up his ship sparing his pod.

I endorse people that try and pod pirates. You rock. Either I've never met one, or I just have a feel for when to hit "warp to" with my pod. Been losing like 6-7 ships within the last 30 days, and I've yet to be podded.

lol.. And no.. I've never added to my own bounty.. which is why it's usually pathetically small  And I don't alt pod myself... lol, because it's not worth it for a couple of mill.
