So this is where my CCP tax is going? It doesn't seem to be connected to the EVE universe but instead will be something to cater to people who like fast-paced shooting games. Trying to get the CoD crowd CCP? Are ya? Or people who play War Thunder but want more spaceships? Get your faction whatever-i-just-looked-at for Gé¼3.99! I wouldn't call CCP Explorer a noob. 
But it looks like it got revealed, sadly not my cup-o-tea but nice to know.
As for your money going that way, you pay to get access to the servers and there it somewhere ends.
What CCP in all their (un)wisdom decides to do with our money is up to them.
You can always opt-out.

What is a CCP tax?
Trying to get the CoD crowd? What does a Virtual Reality Space dog fight game have to do with CoD? Are you even aware of Dust?
War Thunder is now a VR game?
And what does any of this have to do with charging for faction gear or skill point boosts?
DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON, OR ARE YOU JUST ADMIRING YOUR OWN DRIVEL?
To carve a successful niche for yourself in EVE you need to be able to out sell, out produce, out fight,-á out run, or out wit your competitors.
If you can do none of the above, your only option is to complain on the forums that somehow you are at a disadvantage using the exact same tool set-áas the rest of the player base. |

B-but I do like it and do pay. I didn't say I don't like EVE. You just don't see a lot on this tech demo so far. It could be the best thing around, or shovelware. Time will tell.

Nope, we asked CCP and made sure all of your money went toward internet space-ships. They're specifically only using money by people who looked at Eve VR at Fanfest and said "holy **** do want!!!"  |
