Originally by: Lillith Blackheart In contrast to seeing our great people lulled into the complacent mindset that will allow us to fall behind in the galaxy as a whole? Certainly.
The long term ramifications of a quick reclamation of Caldari Prime far outweigh the short term satisfaction that would arrive to our people.
The romanticized notion that reclaiming Caldari Prime will propel the State into a golden age is just that, a romanticized notion. Humanity has certain tendencies that it can not, and will not, escape. Individuals may continue to press on, but not all will for very long, and thusly Empires fall.
I do not need Caldari Prime to be in the hands of the State to remember the glory of Fuukiuye and Raata-Oryioni. Our history speaks loudly enough of it. Let Caldari Prime stand as a memorial to all those who were martyred on that terrible day that even many of the Gallente recognize now for what it was.
Lest we forget, and that is where the shame would reside.
If the opportunity presents itself, Caldari Prime will be retaken. I have no desire to see it waste away, would you not run to the aid of a drowning relative or sit back and simply contemplate. 'Ah, what a martyr...an example to us all.'

Ah, and all becomes clear. Using multiple contacts to spread ill-will is a practice most frown upon Mr. Abbas. Although, one can't expect somebody like yourself to have any scruples now can we?

now now, my dear toaster, it's not like i made the connection between Exioce and myself a secret. in fact, i believe i even informed you of such during the liberation celebrations at Caldari Prime. or perhaps it was some other Caldari. truth be told, you all look alike to me

I suppose that would explain this weird music I heard.

That would entirely depend upon the circumstances.
In the case of Caldari Prime, the relative has already drowned in order to save countless others from a similar fate. Instead of denouncing their sacrifice by drowning myself in an attempt to drag their corpse from the undertow, I would gladly use them as an example to us all.

If, in the coming months and years the opportunity presents itself to liberate Caldari Prime I will gladly assist in the name of the State.
It is troubling to see something that was literally the centre of the Caldari way-of-life for roughly 19,000 years so easily discarded and forgotten like an afterthought.

Edited by: Lillith Blackheart on 10/01/2006 16:35:56 I do believe I've stated multiple times that it should never be forgotten.
It's astonishing how the rabid patriots can go so far as to put words in the mouthes of others so frequently.
((Edit: Hooraaaay typos! ))

Well, if you'd rather it remain in the hands of our enemies then I guess that really shows your patriotism.

I see it as serving a purpose. If nothing else it motivates the small, rabid percentage of individuals like yourself to push yourselves beyond the reasonable limits in order to increase the power of the State within the universe. Without as strong of a motivator, you would not push quite so hard.
Business is business, after all, and sometimes you have to lose in order to gain, surely every one of us should understand that.

I see the retaking of Caldari Prime an easily achievable goal if things plan out as predicted. The State needs to expand into richer territories, not retract and hide behind a shell.

Funny, the man who once lectured me on knowing nothing about the culture of the Caldari can care less about something the was the centre of Caldari life for a thousand generations.

Someday the Federation will have to right all its wrongs to the people it has hurt. Whether this goes peacefully or not, it the question to ask.

Please, please my fellow patriots, why must we bicker amongst ourselves? I am but a babe to the politics of our people. However I do know that tradition is of tantamount importance to our race. Yes, Caldari Prime must be taken, but not at the expense of the glory of the state. While our military superiority is bested only by the Jovians, we lack the numbers to sufficiently crush the Gallente. I would propose a more political undermining of their liberalistic organization. We should help free the Minmatar from the Amarr. Already they are a driving force within the federation. If we were to liberate their people, would they not see who their true friends are? For now let the Gallente gloat, their hold over our homeworld will not be long. Their pious and liberal hippocracy will not save them.
