No Xenuria, you didnt just spend well over a grand on a tesla, to play EVE on. So I would guess you're trolling. |

Well I dont know what youre expecting Xenuria, it will have the gaming performance of single nvidia 570, maybe less. |

Keep in mind I am a computer graphics major and I have a degree in the former. With this new card I can render entire scenes of high detail models and textures in a few mins rather then a few hrs. It, runs fine with several eve clients on max settings. That is not the problem, if you compare the tesla with the current high end gamming cards you will find the only disadvantage the tesla has is it can't do tesslasation or 3D. Other then that it runs great for New vegas and second life. Just when I use CQ or the character designer I get strange graphical bugs. I will take some screenshots later today and show you what I mean. I was gonna mention IRAY and VRAY as an intended use for them, the 6 gig of VRAM being the most important part of the specs. 1 or 2 gig cards just arnt big enough to render anything that useful. You have almost zero chance that they will fix any game problems in ther drivers, I ve heard of people having problems with 3d max and they sent them a beta driver to try like hours later. but they would wouldnt they, the corporate level service is why ther so expensive. I havent done it for ages and you might not want to do it anyway, but thers normally a way of changing the device string in driver installer, you could try forcing the gaming driver on to it (google it) people normally do it the other way, like 580 to quadro driver. Im a bit rusty with the Nvidia stuff, when I first read your thread, I laughed cause the last TESLA I saw had no video output at all. Anyway good luck LOL. |

Re-Read what I said. I said I used my default video card which is a 295... To prove that the graphical issues are not related to the card itself but to the driver. If you don't read my posts carefully then you will miss what I am trying to say. LOL |

Xenuria wrote:You did make a good point however.. I should set up my other card and to that effect the eve client to only allow it to use enough Video RAM and Resources to reach 30 fps and no more. That way I will have way more unallocated resources for which to use on other game clients.
Anyway who here knows how to fix the graphical issues listed above? I do.
