If you're in Jita or similarly high-population region, them's the breaks.
If not, you have loaded and fired a Legitimate Complaint Cruise Missile.... Oooooh! Look at that, the same AMD that wipes out macrominer/iskfarmer complaints works just as well on Lag missiles!

Go to LowSec space.
The lag is much better out here.

I played six hours straight today. Mined, ran missions, traded, made around 60 jumps in total.
No lag, none at all.

I dont operate in populated systems and since RMR I've had lag thats made the game unplayable. So for **** sake, quit telling people to leave populated systems as if thats going to fix everything, when that only used to be a MINOR lag issue before RMR.

Didnt you know that other peoples opinion dont matter? Especially when people are giving them solid advice. The only lag i know of is when there are 150 other players in D7-ZAC trying to blow each other up.

And take your lag with you.
If the cluster is not able to deal with the load, then juggling it around won't help. In fact those in non laggy systems should be glad that there are people willing to put up with the lag in core systems cause the CPU cycles that they are using have to provided by a CPU somewhere and you better be glad it aint the one your using.

Thank-you, whining idiots, for your presence in the busiest possible locations, is allowing sensible people like myself to play and enjoy the game in one of the 4900+ systems that aren't so crowded, without lag. This Bud's for you, whiners! :-D

What was your point again?

The flame is coming out of your emote.... you should have stated you were in low sec. everyone has heard this before. I'm sorry but if you dont like the lag thats one thing, but to post about it in the forums you are asking for a flame. Its true that there is more lag than usual since the major update, but i still make 20-30 million and hour NPCing, even with the lag. As long as i make my isk i dont complain. booyah .

With all due respect, one node supports at least 12 systems, and that could be a combination of high sec highways, low sec deadends and 0.0 regions. So what you are saying makes no sense. The lag as it stands IS NOT confined to any one region, area, or number of central systems. It is spread sporadically throughout EVE, and anyone not reporting lag, congradulations you have struck it lucky with your node. This is how its going to be until the new servers come. -----------------------------------------

so then move to another system - if its not laggy during peak times- go there! problem solved. Think of yourself, dont concider 'if everyone did this etc etc', just actually concider urselves, get off yo backsides, go to another system a few jumps away if its no laggy there. I don't think the fleet battle people can just like that choose themselves lagfree battle locations. They might get lucky when the couple hundred people start jumping in... Or then again not.

But... if you go there then it does become laggy. Having say, 64 nodes laggin and 64 nodes not; the answer is not simply "oh dont go to systems on the 64 laggy nodes, go to systems on the 64 lagfree nodes" because then those nodes overload.
Also, despite the fact that node assignment is supposedly random, I have to say it looks like entire constellations are on the same node. For the thousands and thousands of players in 0.0 alliances moving to another constellation simply is. not. possible. what you suggest is a workaround, not a solution. And what the playerbase is demanding is a solution -----------------------------------------

ok, so if ur not in an alliance, and ur pretty much solo, or in a well spread-out corp - then NAFF OFF into another constellation - u have no reason not to spend 10 mins flapping about in another system 4 jumps away to test for less-laggyness. are we all agreed on this one?

Yes, but now we're talking about perhaps 20% of the active playerbase. As for the other 80%, I guess it's just a case of 'sticking it out' until CCP improves it. I'm sure they will, but in the transitional phase they WILL lose customers, which should worry them. -----------------------------------------

PVP doesn't work like that, we can't ask our opponents nicely to come to a specific system while we test lag issues, they're to interested in making us jump into them so they can gank some of our ships with the lag.

Listen to all the people? You're asking everyone who has made a life in a system to just leave... get a clue. Congrats that you are in a low sec, perhaps even 0.0, but i don't think leaving a system because you said so is a viable option to fixing this lag.
Empire peeps have to deal with all the whines about 0.0 fleet lag battles, waa waa boo-hoo... and the second we tell you not to do it, you blow up saying its supposed to be part of the game! It says so in the patch notes! Ofcourse I'm making generic assumptions, but its true... so just shut up and dont tell people how to play. Gosh... I swear everyone thinks the way they play should be they way for everyone. Think I need a break from you jackhat chestpoppers.

Unfortunatly its not just high density areas effected.I have moved twice once to nonni and again further out ( following an agent transfer). The system i am currently in is just as bad for lag, yes its not nearly as bad as Jita but it still makes flying missions to unstable. The CCP do seem to be trying there best to fix the issues. With the holidays out of the way n things returning to normal in the real world hopefully all may start to come together on Eve. It is infuriating at times but it is getting better at least i can get on the system now thats better than 2 days after the patch deployment. Till then just trying to adapt to the lag. Though it has done nothing for my caffine levels (can brew up a cup of coffee while undocking) a few more missions and i'll be to dam jittery to fly my ship .

There you go, you want them to fix the game, you already know they are working as hard as they can, in the in-game news they report the hotfixes, ect. What more do you want, a personalized report, wasting their time, or using that time to keep working? |

To all the people who are screaming other people should be going to lower sec space, get a grip and stop blaming people for logging into this game and trying to play it.
The fact is that there should be no lag whatsoever in order to have a pleasurable EVE experience, CCP is simply not able to produce this atm, so blame CCP for the lag, not your fellow player.
So lets just hope that the new hardware CCP ordered is going to cut it, until then please stop whining about lag issues and the amount of people in higher sec space.
