Now taking orders for the Skiff Exhumers :
------
The Skiff is the smallest of the second generation of mining vessels created by the ORE Syndicate. Exhumers, like their mining barge cousins, are equipped with electronic subsystems specifically designed to accommodate Strip Mining modules. They are also far more resilient, better able to handle the dangers of deep space. Skiffs are specialty vessels, designed to mine Mercoxit.
Mining Barge Skill Bonus: Able to equip Strip Miner and Ice Harvester turrets. 3% better yield for Strip Miners per level
Exhumers Skill Bonus: 70% bonus to Mercoxit Mining Crystal yield multiplier and 20% reduced chance of gas cloud forming per level.

 Price is 70M each.
I currently have 3 in hangar, 2 more are available on market and another is on escrow. All located in Oursulaert.
2 more are schedule to be built at around 1h30am EvE time tomorrow and more will fallow every 26h/39h.

Yes, as they are the only ones that fit on the Skiff AND can take a Mercoxit Crystal.

Kiraxis, plz contact me ingame so we can talk about this orders. I am able to supply you with your needs but it will take some days to manufacture all your ships. At around 13.5h per ship, it would take me nearly 5days to build everything.

Well I must say I am the first surprised here.. My current waiting list wihch was around 1 day normaly just sky rocked to 10 days. The next ship available will be around 2006.01.16 (Monday)

Hello everyone,
Quick update on my current waiting list. I got a few more orders ingame who pushed the queue to around January 17 (Tuesday) I currently expect the next available ship to get out of factory around Thursday or Friday January 18-19.. Probably earlier but im not too sure.
I am still taking orders. I also really really hope they will send the Modulated Deep core Strip Miners in game in the next patch. Also, due to R.A.M problem, it may be possible that I have to push a day or two my delivery prevision. I will do everything to get my hand on more. Price wont go up, I will just make a little less profits on each ship.

With all due respect to everyone here, I am unsure why you'd want one of these when it can only fit a single mining laser. It seems woefully inefficient compared to other vessels which can be obtained for less

Jforce: I had the same feeling about the skiff myself when I got the BPO. "bah only a skiff" I said.. Then 1 of my friend worked out the bonus of the ship with skill and Mercoxit crystal t2. He ended up with number that really surprised me. It seem that with Exhumers lvl5, Modulated Deep Core Strip Miner and Mercoxit Mining Crystal 2, you should be able to mine around 50 to 54 units of mercoxit every 3minutes. 250 units of mercoxit every 15minutes. With the current price of morphite on market. It was estimated at around 12 to 15 millions every 15minutes depending on your refining skills. It seem it's 2 at 3 times faster then a Apoc using MDCM + it does not make Gas Cloud (exhumers 5).
*Note: None of the previous statement have been confirmed ingame since we can't atm (No MDCSM)

i bought a skiff ..but if anyone knows where i can get a T2 Mod. DeepCore Stripp Miner ? the skiff is sort of useless without it.

Condemner, I will contact you by mail this afternoon when I'll get online.
And Lord Darksaber, Derr Creed is right. Those miner are not ingame atm. I was really hoping this patch would bring them in but yet no info in the patch note. I will make a post in the Ships & Modules forum later to see if we can get some news on that. As soon I get some info, I will mail all my costumers informing them where to buy the thing.
Really sorry to see the ship useless atm. Im sure it &*$# many of you and me too
