No. The is eve dying video is my real voice. The video you found is when I was messing around with the speeds to figure out what pitch people like.
Like a few people cry about how deep my voice was. Then I made my voice have a higher pitch, and people didn't like that. The one you found is when changed the pitch to 115% to see if that worked. The feedback didn't really change from normal to 115, so I am pretty much sticking to normal.
Did you like the pitch in this video or the one you found?

BTW here is a summary on what I said in the video. I think it has only a 5 +/- year span before it is where WOW is today. Thisn++ is giving if there was a load of good space MMOs to switch to.
Because the only major one that is in works right now is Star Citizen, I doubt this will happen. Giving if CCP doesn't do anything extremely risky and there isn't a load of space MMOs coming out soon. I think the game has 10 or 12 more years. (Which is when the next generation of gamers will be out)
I didn't say this in the video, but I think the reason why you're seeing old players that has taken years off this game come back because of 1 big reason. There is no real options when it comes to space games. This includes SP games.
Of course, this is just my thoughts on this.
(The entire point of this video was to answer a viewers question)

It seems that it is the older players who feel the answer is yes. Im in game less then 2 years and I still have a lot of fun. True there are times im tired of it and bored, so i take 2-3 days away from it. Then i get the itch and log in to go for that kill. For me its all about the solo hunt.
Perhaps in 3 - 5 years ill feel different, but i doubt it. This game offers open ended fun, but that fun gets tiring if you play too long in one episode. Just like anything else in life.
There's an old saying my father taught me: For every hot girl out there.....there's some guy that's sick of f**cking her. Same principle applies here.
Looked up...saw this F***ING clown dropping like a rock.-á Woke up in Vylade wondering what just happened!!! |

There is that and some people get tired of the features or something else. But, I was looking at EVE as a business and without any bias (as possible) when I was making this video.

That's what I mean by there is no real choices when it comes to space games. In fact it's hard to compare Eve with another space game because most space games that are out there feel like they are still in beta.
For example, I was playing battlestar last night and the movement controls kept switching to other functions in a middle of a fight

I'm new and in no position to judge wether or not EVE is dying, but I will say (state) this.
Every online game I've played in the past has had someone or some people saying 'This game is dying'.
Every online game I've played with people saying that is still pretty much kicking it, one way or the other.
From my point of view, EVE seems bristling with life, lots of people everywhere, markets with tons of player produced goodies indicating alot of activity.
The galaxymap refflects lots of ships destroyed everywhere, the forum has a busy newbee Q&A - all indicators that EVE is very much alive.
So OP, even as a young-un, I have to disagree with your claim. |

Here's some constructive criticism.
- Get a better microphone. I know you're using software to try and mask the sound of your voice, but the quality is just awful. I'd rather hear your natural voice on a semi decent microphone, right now it sounds like you're underwater.
- Stop making meaningless videos based on conjecture and then posting them all over the internet in order to get cheap views. Why even make a video about 'if Eve is dying' when the evidence quite clearly points to the contrary.
- Make bullet points and memorise them, avoid rambling on for too long. People have short attention spans and rightfully so, will turn off your video in record time if you do not have a good pace or are not covering relevant points towards the beginning of the video.
- You need decent content if you want a decent viewer base, put some effort into a few videos rather than making a dozen nothing videos. Quality > quantity.

I checked this game out and it looks like its going to be really good if they live up to what they say will be in game. Open ended sandbox with fully customizable ships, immersive environment, fully player driver economy and market. I think EvE has a competitor coming along next year. Also will have first person flying mode and supports Oculus Rift. Definately going to give it a chance.
