ok I have to clear some things up here. The facts are a trap was layed and magua fell for it hook line and sinker the ospry warped in magua targeted him and shot the other ships warped in then and destroyed the scorp.
The forces involved were 2 thoraxs 1 moa a osprey and a blackbird and a kestral.
magua fell for the trap and died he was webbed and scrambled and senser jammed none of the ships involved took armor damage at all.
As regards people flaming M0o in the tread M0o have been nothing but civil on this and I'm sure realise themselves that it happens and well done to the pilots. This is the offical story from my sources please stop speculating there were 8 frigates/cruisers involved. the facts are there was a deliberate trap arranged for the scorp.
The practice of camping gates is dangerous and magua paid for camping the gate.
Again my thanks to M0o for there patience with people flaming on the tread. Well done guys and it's nice that you have been so civil in this.

Excellent. I am glad to see people using tactics to overcome gate camping. :)
One question though - is there some kind of warp timer where you cant' warp after you've been firing?
Otherwise, I assume Magua could have jammed the first guy, then warped away when the others came.

jamming is an offensive action therefor the gate would not allow you to jump. As regards jumping away. Sure it was only a osprey why would someone in a scorp want to jump from a osprey?
the osprey was bait and magua took the bait he attacked the osprey there fore he could not use the gate so when the others jumped in to the gates position they warp scrambled him to stop him escaping then destroyed him.

I Love Moo¼!!!!!
I come frmo the game planetarion and those of you that have played that know of the names Fury and Legion. NOw to PA(planetarion) players
fury is the equivilant to Moo you love to hate them.. they do 2 things they keep you on your toes and they make you wanna work harder to kill them.
Some one killed a Moo ship namely a BS brill we get more courage to go after them..they get better at fighting frigs hehe its the circle of life here in eve i dam well love it!

Too many butt kissers have moos back, when they are obviously full of it, its good to see those guys(gals?) have knocked em down a peg or two with thier 8 frigates. P.S. if i got pwned by 8 frigates in a scorp i would be pretty embaressed and would not deserve any "credit"  |

That looks like 5 cruisers and 1 frigate, not 8 frigates

How come people think it takes bravery? Look at the cost.
Cruiser with npc market items is what 3-6mil depending on the type, less if you build it. A+ clone is 260k or something.
No biggie if you get shot and podded.
With tracking post-patch and tracking distruptors and targeting dampners, very easy to get close, where if the BS is not outfitted for close combat, it is doomed. 2 Blackbirds can be devasting.
So some of you guys need to stop acting like its a big embarrasement to lose to 8 cruisers/frigates. Its not.
To paraphase, "its not the size of the ship, but how you use it."

Brave souls are not. The easiest think is to equip a cheap frigate and lvl1 cruisers and in a group of similar configurations attack a loner, there i always a fair chance that the lober will lose, but this is just normal PvP (a good one). I wish more people could act this way, instead of waiting, lurking and or *****ing having completely no fun out of this game.
That incident was a good lesson for us all.
P.S.I used this quote not to criticise the poster but to come forward with my point in general, and ussualy I like to chose the quotes which decribe a major aspect of a thread that seems interesting to me.

Well....maybe a little, but I laughed my ass off.
Mo0 makes this game interesting for me cause my blood gets pumping abit when I know i am in a Mo0 blockaded system trying to get through.
I know that if I want to get through I have to equip my Blackbird properly to do it. Makes me think abit.
Mo0 and those others of that ilk make my gameplay enjoyable. Just be smart and you will be ok 9 out of 10 times.
And if you get podded....SO WHAT! Its just a game.
One day Ill get mine!

Good point!!!. remember people when someone says warp out, they dont mean "jump through a gate" they mean warp to somewhere in that system.
As soon as i seen a group of cruisers warp in, id just jump to a moon or something.
Not wanting to be a party ****er or anything, but this encounter was full of luck, and maybe a series of bad mistakes by the Moo guy. imo.
Well done , i like stories like that, dont think the more experienced members of this corp would have made this mistake.

It wasnt a group that warped in, the "bait" ship was fitted with a warp scrambler, he took the bait and got scrambled, thats when the rest of the fleet warped in and finished the job on him.
Was a good fight, and I do feel for the poor m00 pilot as it wasnt only a decent ship he lost, tons of decent gear was looted from his ship too, which has only gone to strengthen his persecutors.

I thought the 8 frigates thing had been clarified? Furthermore, do you really think that knocked us down a peg? Our pilot was back in a battleship less than two hours later. (;
