As stated in the Title, I want to know what you guys think. I know there is no definitive answer, but I want to know peoples opinions. Other than rookie ships, what do you guys think is the worst ship in EVE? Also, why do you think it is the worst ship in EVE. This is just a fun topic discussion. |

At the risk of starting a flame war, my vote would be Legion. HAMs? Sacrilege does it better. Lazors? Most Amarr ships do it better. T3 versatility? Tengu does it better. PVP? Proteus does it better. Exploration? Pilgrim does it better. PVE? What DOESN'T do it better???
Shall I go on? Can't believe I can't even resell the subsystems to help with re-coop of my ISK.

My vote would have to be for the Worm. When I ask in the forums about it, '"Worm SUCKS!", when I ask about it in militia chat, "Worm is $%^&", when I ask about it in Corp, "Worm is a joke"...
I know nothing about the worm, or why it is so awful, since nobody ever elaborates. But 46,000 EVE players can't be wrong. |

Repackage the ship and it spits all the subsystems back out. Although you still lose the rigs.
Anyways, back to the topic...I'm also going with the Primae. It's fat and slow, has less Planetary Cargo than ANY T1 INDUSTRIAL has regular cargo before bonuses, and it's not even worth keeping as a collector's item since it was handed out like candy. Heck, you can't even fit an AB/MWD in the mid slots to offset the fatness because it HAS NO MIDSLOTS. Or highslots for that matter. |

I saw a worm doing high sec anoms recently.
I've /never/ seen an eagle. Until they patch it, it's getting my vote an the sub cap class.
Vigil really isn't the best either, target painter only bonus.....although its quite nippy for scooting around I guess. |

Worm is fun for either DED1/DED2 or for grinding L1's for faction standing (even tho I still prefer the Ashimmu for that task). :) Aside from that, it's not on my list of ships that I regularly rely on, either.

Other than that Phantasm...used to be good but everything else has been buffed so far beyond it its just a cool looking hangar ornament. |

There is no other ship in EVE that gives players such a false impression of what a good ship is capable of. Tengu Pilots are the slow drivers of EVE that cause traffic to get backed up. |

To be more exact, the dual MSE fit is a lot tankier than the Tristan. It's still utterly terrible, though. Slow, insufficient tackle, risible DPS, appalling CPU... |

The Primae
Even a non expanded high speed/tanky (ex tier 1) Industrial has more cargo space than it (all 3 bays combined), it has less tank , less slots and is slower. Only good thing is a moderately small sig.
PS the Legion is great for WHs, for PVP its a brick tank nueting Pilgrim, for PVE is has a great tank, good damage and fairly good damage projection. I would personally say that only the Tengu might be better for C3 and below. (Loki has bad tank and low damage/bad projection (the prot might be OK now that rails have been buffer) |

Phantasm : The only viable setup I can come up with is an XLASB fit that can do about 450 DPS..... with no room for tackle and with only an afterburner. And if all you are contributing is DPS, you'd may as well fly a thorax. Or an omen. Or... anything else who's hull dosent cost 80M+
Electronic attack ship : Pick one, any one. Can do the same thing from a racial T1 cruiser for the same/less cost, and not get alphaed by a hobgoblin. I've only ever seen one in space.
Succubus : Buy a retribution or a navy slicer instead.
Cruor : Maybe for FW plexes? 1v1 frigate fights? Among other things, it's just too slow.
Ashimmu : See Cruor.
Those are all common complaints. Here are some uncommon ones.
Maller : It's great at what it does. The problem is that it's a one trick pony and everyone knows it. See a maller? It's got a huge brick tank. It's probably bait. And it aligns about as fast as a trimarked BS.
Tormentor : Why wouldn't you just buy a punisher?
Malediction : Made me train missiles just so I could have an interceptor with a black paint job....
Moa : I'm not one of those guys that demands that all ships be pretty. But cmon. This thing is so fugly that I can't bring myself to fly it!
Eeos : I posted this on another "List bad ships" thread a few years ago. It remains on my list because I have only *heard* that it exists. I've never actually seen one. |

Not really going to argue about anything else you have on this list, but for EAF's the Keres is a pretty nice long range tackle ship. I do have to admit though, that other than getting long range point (and potentially damping out whatever it's pointing to keep it safe) it's not much good for anything else.
As for the Tormentor, I quite like it as a heavy Executioner. It's slower and doesn't have the role bonus, but it has an extra low and a beefier tank. It also gets 2 drones (what good they are) giving it more DPS. It's what the Punisher could be if it had 3 mids. |
