News Release
PIE Inc is pleased to announce that official hostilities with the Minmatar Oracle Corp resumed from 00.00 last night. A force of PIE Inc. pilots swept two systems known to host Oracle operations but did not make contact with the enemy.
An overjoyed Amarr resident in one of the systems expressed delight that actions against Minmatar terrorists have commenced. He said, "We were so pleased to see the PIE Inc patrol come through here. We have had to put up with these beastly swaggering Minmatars for weeks now and their overbearing 'holier than thou' attitude was really getting on our nerves. Maybe now I can get some slave trading done in peace."
Takumi Vetinari, CEO of PIE Inc, added, "Last night's operation was just a taste of things to come. We will not sit on the defensive and allow the Minmatar to dictate terms in Amarr space. Under the leadership of Centurio Golan Trevize our military will actively seek out and engage Oracle and Minmatar insurgents wherever we find them. Long Live The Emperor."
Tharrn, PIE Inc. Military Liason, concluded, "Although PIE Inc is outnumbered and outgunned by our Minmatar opponents we will not shrink from doing our duty for the Empire. For security reasons we will not recruit during this time of war but all help from loyal Amarr is appreciated, particularly the location of Oracle Corp members and operations. We are not recruiting and have actually had to turn down a number of Amarr recently.
When we resume recruiting it will most likely be by invitation only!

WAR UPDATE
Following the Minmatar insurgents unopposed demonstration in the Amarr system on Thursday night, the Amarr loyalist PIE Inc. Corporation resolved to take the battle to Oracle on their home ground.
A team of hardworking intelligence operatives quickly identified Oracle's recently activated HQ in Minmatar space.
A strike fleet of 16 PIE Inc. pilots made their way to the centre of Oracle's operations.
Unfortunately, the few Oracle Corp pilots operational in the system at the time of the raid made it to their station and declined to come out. This is actually quite understandable considering the impressive display of Amarr firepower in the system at the time.
PIE Inc CEO Takumi Vetinari, said, "For tonight at least Amarr pilots could go about their lawful business in Empire space unobstructed by the interfering Minmatar. We look forward to the day when we can cross swords with our Minmatar opponents in a meaningful way."
Centurion Golan Trevize, added, "We may lack the numbers of Oracle Corp but we do not lack a willingness to fight and die for the Emperor. I am very proud at the showing of our pilots last night and call on other Amarr Corps to put their principles (and ships) on the line and join the struggle to free the Amarr Empire of Minmatar interference."

On careful reading of my post you will see that we did not claim 'victory'.
We posted to demonstrate that there is actually something happening in our 'war' and to show our willingness to take the offensive - even into Minmatar space as necessary.
I do not know anything about this shuttle you refer to. I certainly received no report about your positions after we completed our successful patrol of your HQ system.
To be honest we had assumed enough of your members would be in the vicinity of your HQ to provoke a battle...unfortunately it seems we assumed wrong.
We proclaim no victory - this will clearly be a long and drawn out war - and I am sure we will both suffer our share of 'victories' and 'defeats'.
However, I think it is important to demonstrate that, unlike your war with First Praetorian Guard, your pilots will not be safe anywhere and that you can no longer dictate where and when we fight.
We may not have as many members or resources as your corporation of Minmatar 'freedom fighters' but we will no longer sit on the defensive and let you hit us at your leisure in Amarr space.
In terms of your comment regarding our 'chasing miners into station' it may not be the most glorious tactic but if it helps keep your miners alert I am sure you will thank us for it eventually
Anyway, I believe many of your members specialised in this very same tactic in your war with First Praetorian Guard and our rules of engagement has not excluded killing unwary miners.
Despite our disagreement on the ethics of slavery and your fundamental disrespect of our traditions and religion you and your corp have so far proved honourable enemies and definitely deserving of our respect.
As our CEO Takumi Vetinari said I am sure we will cross swords in a more meaningful way at some stage...
Thank you for the drink by the way It really hit the spot!

WAR UPDATE
PIE Inc is now also at war with the Minmatar Buffalo Soldiers Corp.
We had no contact from the Buffalo Soldiers Corp prior to their declaration of war (which came out of the blue) and therefore have to assume that they are simply more Minmatar terrorists and allies of Oracle Corp.
PIE Inc members and other loyal Amarr are encouraged to engage these deviant Minmatars at any suitable opportunity.
We shall demonstrate to Buffalo Soldiers, as we have to Oracle, that at least some Amarr will stand and fight on behalf of our traditions and Emperor.

We do not deny Oracle fought well, honourably and bravely tonight and have much respect for you as a result!
Just for the record though the three Amarr corps combined do not have Oracle's total member count!
