There are no Amarrian slaves. You condemn our people on the basis of the propaganda of the terrorists barking loudest here in the summit.
Read the scriptures, visit our homeworld and try to get to know our traditions and what they are based upon. As long as you get your facts from the well-oiled propaganda machinery of those questionable Minmatar groups you could as well make them up on the fly (maybe you do, I don't know).
There's Amarr commoners, holders and nobility - but there have never been any Amarrian slaves nor will there ever be Amarrian slaves. It is our divine right to enslave and educate those who have not seen the light of the one. Those Amarrians defying the scriptures are not enslaved but purged as they are beyond hope.

Yes, but the difference is we do not forcefully impose ourselves onto the land and lives of others outside of our territory. We live and work in the land that is rightfully ours. We do not practice ruthless expansion in the name of the scriptures of irrationally fervent zealots.
We are fuedal in the sense that we operate in an organized patchwork of lands, promoting trade, peace, and prosperity to all who dwell freely within.

What!? Amarr aren't slaves? And here I was thinking they were slaves to that ancient piece of paper that they like to call 'holy scripture'.
That book rules your race like you like to rule over others. I wonder what an ancient scholar would say about that. He lived on Earth a long, long time ago... Freud was his name...

...You are nothing and will never be nothing but slaves in my eyes.. But when i think of it there is 1 way for this war to end peacefully and that is for Oracle corporation to come home with us in our cargoholds in chains.
So you have built your community on nothing ? Nice thought, but I¦m not certain, if your so well implanted mummy... errm, your emperor, that is... will like the thought of being the head of a great big nothing - even before we had a chance to realise this for you.
Ending this war by enslaving one free corp ? sheesh, get your brain boosters adjusted - for ev¦ry falling Minmatar Pilot, there will rise a dozen to keep our cause straight - pointed at you, big nothin¦

Throughout history empires built on slavery have achieved a great many things, from pyramids to railways. Perhaps you should accept your part in this and rejoice at your contribution rather than rebel against it. I accept your point that many great empires have eventually faded for one reason or another however, where that of the Amarrian Empire differs is that it will not.

We're a tribal society. Don't be intentionally obtuse. Perhaps we should post a side-by-side poll of Amarr Factory Worker vs. Minmatar Tribal Member?

And what color is the sky in your world? The Caldari, Gallente, and even the Jove are all aware of your system's corruption. Of course, you're not inclined to take the word of inferior beings anyway, so i doubt this'll sway you much. You just go on superiorishly backstabbing each other and selling political rivals into slavery...

WAR UPDATE
Following the Minmatar insurgents unopposed demonstration in the Amarr system on Thursday night, the Amarr loyalist PIE Inc. Corporation resolved to take the battle to Oracle on their home ground.
A team of hardworking intelligence operatives quickly identified Oracle's recently activated HQ in Minmatar space.
A strike fleet of 16 PIE Inc. pilots made their way to the centre of Oracle's operations.
Unfortunately, the few Oracle Corp pilots operational in the system at the time of the raid made it to their station and declined to come out. This is actually quite understandable considering the impressive display of Amarr firepower in the system at the time.
PIE Inc CEO Takumi Vetinari, said, "For tonight at least Amarr pilots could go about their lawful business in Empire space unobstructed by the interfering Minmatar. We look forward to the day when we can cross swords with our Minmatar opponents in a meaningful way."
Centurion Golan Trevize, added, "We may lack the numbers of Oracle Corp but we do not lack a willingness to fight and die for the Emperor. I am very proud at the showing of our pilots last night and call on other Amarr Corps to put their principles (and ships) on the line and join the struggle to free the Amarr Empire of Minmatar interference."

Now is that not one of the biggest contradictions written in recent history?
You uneducated Minmatar should submit to the enlightenmnent of Amarr and learn to use that piece of mind better. It is called focus, and is enforced by the threat of Vitoc. The Minmatar owned by Amarr citizens and under the Vitoc thumb could not be in a better position. After years of this they come to see the light and embrace the Holy word of our divine Emperor.
The free Minmatar are nothing but a collection of roving vandals, saboteurs and terrorists.
It is that simple
Edit: I congratulate PIE inc on their successful campaign against the Oracle heathens. May the news reports continue to boost our optimism. ----------------------------------------------

Well Hardin, so you post a non-engagement as a victory? I laugh at this. I guess you need all the morale bolstering you can get though, well done. Indead, chasing miners into a station is perhaps the finest moment in PIE history.
It's rather odd though, that soon five (5) Oracle vessels came looking for these sixteen (16) Pie ships and they were no where to be found. Perhaps it was our guns instead of mining lasers that caused this. The only member of PIE we saw was in a shuttle, and there is no honor in destroying an unarmed shuttle, so we let him run, as he did. Though using a shuttle as an advanced spy will not be tolerated again. Nor did we see any evidence of PIE ships after the spy reported our strength and position. Strange. Hmmmm.
So enjoy your victory and toast to the most gallant and brave warriors. The drinks are on me.

On careful reading of my post you will see that we did not claim 'victory'.
We posted to demonstrate that there is actually something happening in our 'war' and to show our willingness to take the offensive - even into Minmatar space as necessary.
I do not know anything about this shuttle you refer to. I certainly received no report about your positions after we completed our successful patrol of your HQ system.
To be honest we had assumed enough of your members would be in the vicinity of your HQ to provoke a battle...unfortunately it seems we assumed wrong.
We proclaim no victory - this will clearly be a long and drawn out war - and I am sure we will both suffer our share of 'victories' and 'defeats'.
However, I think it is important to demonstrate that, unlike your war with First Praetorian Guard, your pilots will not be safe anywhere and that you can no longer dictate where and when we fight.
We may not have as many members or resources as your corporation of Minmatar 'freedom fighters' but we will no longer sit on the defensive and let you hit us at your leisure in Amarr space.
In terms of your comment regarding our 'chasing miners into station' it may not be the most glorious tactic but if it helps keep your miners alert I am sure you will thank us for it eventually
Anyway, I believe many of your members specialised in this very same tactic in your war with First Praetorian Guard and our rules of engagement has not excluded killing unwary miners.
Despite our disagreement on the ethics of slavery and your fundamental disrespect of our traditions and religion you and your corp have so far proved honourable enemies and definitely deserving of our respect.
As our CEO Takumi Vetinari said I am sure we will cross swords in a more meaningful way at some stage...
Thank you for the drink by the way It really hit the spot!

Edited by: Tharrn on 24/08/2003 11:08:38 We can camp your station next time rather than moving on to allow honored enemies like Macumba to launch if you prefer - he made it clear that there would be no fighting that evening as your pilots were scattered or off duty. It was understandable, as Hardin pointed out.
It makes me sad to see such a reply by you. Is PR really more important than honoring a worthy enemy?

As all Amarrians laughed at your hollow 'victory' in freeing 365 slaves that were old, unwashed and unwanted. Oh how mincingmatars came in here and bragged of your incursion into Empire space, toasting this as the beginning of the new Mincingmatar revolution. How is that a contradiction at all? We are not "nomads", we live well within our borders.
It is sad that you call those who are "under the thumb" of Vitoc, enlightened. They are not enlightened, they are simply drugged-up and unable to fight back. Give me some Vitoc, I could shoot you up and call you enlightened, too.

WAR UPDATE
PIE Inc is now also at war with the Minmatar Buffalo Soldiers Corp.
We had no contact from the Buffalo Soldiers Corp prior to their declaration of war (which came out of the blue) and therefore have to assume that they are simply more Minmatar terrorists and allies of Oracle Corp.
PIE Inc members and other loyal Amarr are encouraged to engage these deviant Minmatars at any suitable opportunity.
We shall demonstrate to Buffalo Soldiers, as we have to Oracle, that at least some Amarr will stand and fight on behalf of our traditions and Emperor.

Empty words and hollow threats is all I read. Tonight saw the beginning of what will surely be bleak days to come for Oracle, and you would be wise to reconsider your terrorist acts before the storm consumes you all.
After all, we would have more use of you alive. ----------------------------------------------

All I saw tonight was a hastily assembled defence force doing comparable damage to a much larger, better armed force comprising of members of no less than THREE corporations.
A good fight was had, but one that does not bode well for you.
While I am here I would like to Apologise again for firing after the standdown, in the excitement I did not see the order to cease fire.
