how to get a macrominer (7days ago):
macrominers use macros (really?). that means they use programms to let the ship recognize the cargo it has to fill or haul. with rmr ccp gave us the chance to blow theese peeps by tricking their macros. the macro has to recognize the can, as said above. that means it randomly graps all cans around ( what is no longer practicable), or it has to name them.
this is its weak point. for all thoose that never invested rare brain ressources in that fact, if it names them, u can do that , too!
an example someone i know well used several weeks (2, or so):
2 apocs sitting scriptmining in a belt in 0.9. their can is called "66666666".
the hauler comes in, graps what he can and warps out. after 5 minutes the can is full. so the script creates a second, called "666666".
after quite some while, the apocs move to the next roid. "77777777" is now the name.
now folks, price question: how you have to name your can you put 1 dense velt in to make the script take it out?
this works pretty often as the macro can only do the stuff its content says. taking theese 15 minutes of time to see how the script works will solve the scriptminer problem, if ALL of you take part in, of course. and on the other hand, it might drop you some worthy stuff and fills your pocket. so we have 2 good reasons to kill an exploit with an exploit.
too bad CCP doesn't seem to take this problem very serious. now that ALL other cans are red, in definately not more than 4 weeks no script will take a red can!!! do we have so many stupid people in our community that we need red cans to save them and let the scriptminers again be unbeatable in their precious 0.9 system? i definately loved CCP for giving myself and anybody else the option to get rid of thoose pesky chinese scriptminers that graps the last pennys of poor children for getting themselves into a dread for hundreds of dollars ( no, not the hundreds of dollars we give ccp for that, thats ok, even more!).
for the red cans, the only two words you guys get from me begins with an f and stops with a u, and i'm not allowed to write them in here...
