I know CCP have to move the agents for load balancing issues, but they moved my Agent to a totally different region! That's going to make it a real pain to both run missions and keep an eye on the sell orders that I put up for our corp in our home region.
I've petitioned it but got a very uncaring response (we're moving them, we're not going to reconsider any moves, find another agent if you don't like it), and I was just wondering how many other people this has happened to...
So, if your agent has changed region, let me know. --- Ha! Vote me for top forum ***** |

I don't mind them moving, particularly, although it is a bit of a pain. I'm just hoping that they'll be unbinding the LP's you earn from the agent, and assigning them to the agent's corp instead.

Two of my agents are moving to another region (lvl 4), one is moving within a region (lvl 3) and the others (lvl 2-4) are staying put. It's a non-issue really.
As the answer to your petition suggested, get another agent or rather other agents (note the plural, what was it about eggs and baskets....).

I ran two agents in scolluzer - they'be both moved to different regions which kinda sucks because it was so convenient to be able to run both gallente and minmatar missions in the same system.
Relocating my stuff to the new region with my primary agent took more than a day (semi afk reading). 30 ships, 15 indy loads, 2 bases ouch
both these things are kinda annoying, but I consider them part of the game - Just like when I switch primary agents.
Losing access to my agent however, while in the midst of a mission which I will lose faction for failing to complete I find more than annoying. Anyone know why they had to suspend both missions in progress and new missions for over a week before moving?

That's not too much of a problem. What is is that after my agents moved from their original home to a new system 5 jumps away they still give missions that spawn around their original home. So now I have to fly 5/6 jumps to do a mission then 5/6 back again. And when it's a short crappy mission (as some level 4s are) then it's a complete waste and pain to do.

But actually the "load balancing" doesnŠt work. 2 CN-agents level 4 moved from Inoue (where lag was quite ok even in the evening) to Hageken. Hageken and the sectors around are lagging now like hell, even with 40-50 players in the local... _______________________________________

all my agents (that i have good lp with) have moved to a different region. At first gotta say was not to happy, then i read they where being moved to low lag systems me thought yipi cant wait till 040106.
waits patiently for 5 days
040106 log on 50 ppl in local (used to having 100+ in inoue) accept mission undock and well took 5 mins tried to warp to mission same waited 3 mins to warp errr LAG FREE SYSTEM you having a bubble even inoue on its worst day was not as bad as thins with doulbe to players in local.
050106 logas on bout same in local but even worse lag so can i ask ccp 1 simple question ? WHAT ARE YOU DOING? take it from a player who has spent 10 months doing missions in inoue and surroundinging systems i have seen the change in the game i.e. numbers but its getting a bit boring tbh and needs sorting out and that does not mean posting something in news about hotfixes cause i can assure you that the lag gets worse not better.
