See, I always manage to be afk/warping/docked/miles away/logged out/drunk/asleep/(all the above) when all the super fights happen.
Props to both though, from what I witnessed during the AGG/3JN blockade, the main enemy was the lag. Still, left me almost shaking the monitor with lag-induced-beer-assisted-rage once or twice.

Sigh... Had to jump to empire to carry some stuff north with my indy yesterday. 
From what friends from both sides told me it was pretty intense fighting. Looking forward to more awesome battles, hopefully with me to die in.

Since I noticed a marked improvement in the lag after killing Backround processes, Anti-Virus, X-Fire, IM Clients, Ect. I'm thinking that possibly upgrading to a better processor (from 2Ghz) and upgrading to more memory (from 512) would possibly help. Also switching to full screen mode seems to help as well, hitting Alt/Enter in the middle of space no longer freezes up the computer (used to have to only do it at stations). Eve is definitely making improvements server side and maybe it's time that we make improvements client side. I"m pretty sure that if all of us would upgrade our equipment, it can only make things better, just something to keep in mind.
BTW, Props to BOB, Another great fight, Even if I have sunk another half Billion into this

if the server would have twice the performance the 10 minute lag spike "could" be reduced to 5 minutes (if it scales that well)
so you still have 5 minutes, when seconds decide if you get out or file a petition

in my experience an overloaded server will perform exponentially worse the more overloaded it becomes. It's reasonable to expect that doubling the hardware specs should do more than half the lag issues.
Then again, this is eve we're talking about. :)

I think you'll find that if you smack them less on forums/ingame or w/e then you will get that mutual respect thing and they will be more willing to have fun :\

Nah man see us 'working class' ppl work all day/night when we get home we like to unwind relax have a beer play a bit of eve were not totaly smashed like they are so we'd have a huge advantage all we have todo really is 'roll' them over and steal all there iskies.
