Single handedly the Gallente Empire has been Nerfed.
1st you make our drones less efective and nerf all our bays.
2nd. You now BAN the #1 most used drone in EVE.
3rd. OGRE drones are bugged (dev's said so!) as they have no tracking abilities at all. (cant hit frigs, AF, intys, fast crusiers etc..)
So when I go to hunt Guristas now (Thermal/Kinetic) what do you suggest I use since you have taken away my only two weapons for this enemy.
Remember, many Gallente use Drones (as I do) as their primary weapons system.
(shall I also add thats since the patch/nerf, rails haven't done the same damage as they did and the bonuses aren't adding right. Shields got a boost! Gallente's armor didn't. Thanks for the new armor skills that go away when you turn on the hardners. Thanks for ruining the thorax and making the DareDevil worthless!)
If it wasn't against policies I would Ebay this char and get an Amaar Char.

Actually the announcement says that they are banned in combat, and that if someone petitions for a ship lost becuase OGres were used against them you will be warned.
So unless the Guristas start filling out petitions you should be fine.

Start a noob char, sell this one on forum, then use ISK to buy Amarr char and stop complaining, I'm having plenty of fun with my Ishkur!

There are still plenty of other drones out there to use or get in a ship that can use guns/missiles.
Drones are actually better now, dmg and hp wise, as soooo many people on these forums have proven.

drones that suddenly with a patch gets 600% better tracking then the other drones of the same size smells of a bug.
one would not need a big nose to understand that it was just a matter of time until they would say DONT USE THEM!
it cant be that hard to use common sense can it?
use small and medium drones to kill intys with instead of large ones.

No offense but the drones (unless near maxed skills) are a nerf. Said so in the Dev blog. Plus its easier to lock 5 drones then 15. Autolock handles more then 5!
Unless you have Drone Interfacing 5 you take big losses. I'm only 3.5 months old and the Drone training time I have invested is a major percentage of my skills.
You say "use other drones". Okay what other heavy drones use Therm & Kin? I hunt Guristas... Therm/Kin. I have to fight BOB without WASPS??? Thats like telling Caldari they can't use any Therm/Kin missles or torps. Only wee rockets.
I can't stress this enough.---- I have lost the ability to do two types of damage with my primary weapon system. This is huge!. That shouldn't have to wait for "the next patch".

Wasps are bugged, they will hit stuff they are not supposed to. Obviously this bug leads to an unfair advantage in pvp. Abusing this while they are broken is called exploiting. Your stupid analogy comparing the lack of Wasps to downgrading from torps to rockets is just that, stupid. All drones have comparable damage, Ogres have more, the main difference is damage type. The only time thats really important is when you're npc hunting. Unless the Guristas petition you, your gameplay is unaffected.
Your other claims are also weak and whiny. Rail bonuses not adding up right? Well sir, you seem to have discovered a major flaw which no other BH or player has noticed until this very moment. (Hello sarcasm) Provide numbers, if you can, otherwise I'm going to call you a big fat liar.
Oh, and ruining the Thorax and Daredevil? You wanna be more specific than that? Thorax gets 10 less grid than a Deimos, and the Daredevil has its bonus fixed, and stats boosted. OH BUT NO, THEY WERE RUINED. The Guru has spoken.

I agree that current state of Wasps in PvP is unacceptable. It may not be a critical bug, but still unacceptable.
What I don't understand is why CCP can't simply hot-fix them at downtime? Why go thru all the effort of announcing an exploit, sorting thru related petitions, banning people right and left.. when they could just change 1 number in a hot-fox patch and close the issue? Sure, the client software might have Wasp drones cached and show wrong tracking, but the server would use correct number and that's what matters.
why they have to do everything ass-backwards? heh

the anouncement didnt say anything about wasps not being used on npc.
plus with the damn rats so weak nowadays who uses drones to kill frigs, my tachyons kils frigs orbitting me at 5km even if they miss

For once I say simply this:
Ignore the little 'omg something's broke' and use them to your heart's content. Even in PvP - you get a kill and they get their ship back (AND the stuff was blown up!), a win win for both of you.
Now, if they'll start paying attention to the miner exploit I might listen to their admonitions about other bugs. Until then... *shrug*

I agree something needed to be done as it's unfair, but just taking them away with no fix is pure stupidity! They have already admitted that the T1 Ogres dont track, but no fix. That means I have no thermal or kinetic damage... period.
If this was all thermal and kinetic missles had a problem, CCP woudn't say, "You can't use them." They would fix them and fast.

@ GuruJ, Caldari are possible the most nerf entitiy in the history of mmorpg, so you cant use your favorite drones, so get our your rail guns and one volley the frigates whilst some poor raven pilot who has trained to use that ship for two years (me) gets to do 7 points of damage and never score criticals.

Have you looked at T2 missiles? Either they are broken or CCP never intend for people to use them much.

Last time I checked, missiles werent nerfed. They were balanced and made better if you happened to train your extra missile skills past level 1.
And yeah I use t2 heavy drones, and I have drone interfacing V and I am not complaining, my drones are as good now as ever if not much better. Especially since I trained most of the new drone skills to lvl IV already.
I would say suck it up and get over it.

I just lost 50% of my options. I have no other options for heavy drones.
CCP has to fix this right away, not ban us from use. That is lazy. Maybe they can wait for a full payment when they fix the 50% finished game.

What, does the truth make you tired? I figured trying to convince the forums of this great drone injustice would be more taxing on a persons energy.
If you understand why Wasps are too good, why are you still talking? Why do you think this warning was issued? UNTIL IT GETS FIXED, its an exploit. That means, a fix is coming. This is not going to be forever. Theres a patch next Tuesday.
OH RIGHT I FORGOT, DIGITALCOMMUNIST WANTS TO MAKE YOU TIRED.
Disregard that. Continue ranting about not being able to use heavy kinetic drones in pvp for four days.

I mostly see Berserkers and now many people use meds anyway.

I guess the original concept of race specific advantages have been slowly eroded away in the name of " Balance "
Whats wrong with Gallent being able to mine better? or the Caldari being the most battle proficient?
I must be the only one watching the game intro movie. 
Oh, and almost forgot.. How do you "balance" a Macro miner's ability to exploit the game for Real Life financial gain?
I know.... By funding multiple accounts with the game creators so they get their cut and leave you alone to continue.

So you're Gallente and you can no longer do Heat and Kinetic damage with your ship anymore...hmmm right!
Ever come to your attention the Gallente have several ships that fit Hybrids?
