EVE eye candy ftw! :D I first played EVE back when it was released in 2003, went to college and cancelled my account cos i couldn't afford it (ISK as items? hehe remember that?) came back at EXODUS, then again had to leave. You dont even have to have the full universe in it, just a selected regionso people can have a look round, lets say rotating the 0.0 regions with stations in them. Also I doubt much in the way of computer power would be needed as only a few people would be on at any one time. We all know it wont happen but for those of us that were there in the early days it would be a nice touch.

I just thought it would be cool to mention how good it would be if for a few days or so, SiSi was turned into EVE as it was in 2003. Surely the folks at CCP keep copies of every build of EVE. (if they didn't then wtf?!) My hero I remember the day i saw this back in beta phase 4 when i actually was able to login on the server for the first time and was moved to tears when i took my first steps in this rich (however rather empty at this time) universe...it was the kind of game i ever had imagined to play online - and it still is! Eve was so different back then...and i was instantly hooked up ;) DEVs break things by looking at them.

I remember the auto eject when docking bug, as well as the ship pile ups at gates that did not quite work at the time. The Auto-Pilot that would plot a 23 jump course to the system 3 jumps away. When Thukkar Mix stations standings were tied to Angel standings. I was killed by a TM station after ratting once. Those were the days of trials and tribulations. But it was all worth it. Lets see these newcomers deal with a week without autopilot, or Amarr shuttles that flew backwards, or manual reloading of weapons, or ship destroying gates that you would exit in a pod, or being ganked while the screen loaded after a jump, or modules going offline during combat. People today have it soft and easy. Great job CCP! Either free the slaves or we will come and get them.
