Okay, quick question...
I understand you may not use Wasp drones for PvP. BUT, are you still able to use them for PvE?
I ask because I am currently in deep 0.0 NPC'ing rats with a weakness to kinetic damage. As you can imagine, going back to empire to haul out a new set of drones which cause less damage to the NPC's is NOT an appealing thought.
As the mistake falls firmly on the side of CCP, I fully expect to be able to carry on playing the game as normal without my NPC'ing being deemed expoitative OR having a risky haul from Empire space to make up for their mistakes.
It was a mistake, fine - but either change all the Wasps in my POS and Domi for Ogres, or leave me to it.

NPC's don't file petitions, but run into someone for some PvP with those fitted, and you're screwed basically.

i think noone will really care about it unless you use it in PVP. It might be shady, but...
... i didn't tell you that.
Oh, and btw, do we get back intys ganked by wasps? Even if the kills are older than *news*? Because those wrecking wasps were annoying.

People where saying that was the case since RMR deployed, so well worth a try indeed.

Well, if its an 'exploit' to use them for NPC'ing thats just BS.
Either they can swap all my Wasps in 0.0 for Ogres, or instawarp me into empire space and back so I can get some myself. Why should I perform a long and risky 0.0-Empire haul just to correct their own mistake?

If you had clicked the "read more" link on that newsitem you would have seen the last couple sentences stating exactly that.
"Any losses caused by Wasp drones  (before and after this announcement) can be petitioned through the Ask a Question section under the Reimbursement category.
This issue will be fixed in the next client patch so please do not use those drones until after that patch."

I understand it as pvp use... I'm not sure npc rats can fillfull a reimbursment form (or i missed something...)

Its not about that, its about their use being deemed an exploit by CCP in the first place. One GM has already indicated that using them for missions is an exploit, as I understand from a post above...

They have uber tracking. So pwn inties.
Using them for anything is an exploit. As they are bugged. In pvp, u will be petitoned , in npc u wont. Risk using them if u like. But ccp wont do anything for u with regard to getting something different.
They have far more important things to do

yes if they say to stop until the next patch it seems you do have to make a haul.

Yeah, well I'm not going to, and will carry on using them for NPC-ing, as given my current setup its highly inconvenient to do anything else.
This isnt my mistake after all. As I work full time and socialise at the weekends, thats a large percentage of my EVE time correcting a mistake that should not have been made in the first place.

What if i got ONLY caldari drone spec on my second acc ? Why should i not use them ?
May be its better to fix it, ASAP, and not making stupid restrictions.
