Ya, thanks CCP. These hac changes are awful. First you take a working kiting ship and turn it into a brawler (vaga) and then you dont even give the Munin a real role? It's way more expensive than both cane and tornado and the Munin is worse then both of those, lol. It cant even compare in short range anymore because you took away its hi slot to!

Yea ccp just hate Minmater, all other races have proper brawling hacs: Sacrilege, Eagle, Diemos. Munin is the less tanky and damaging of all of them. WTF?

I do like the extra DPS I get from the munin. Bloody good stuff with that extra low slot.

The Munin has always struggled a bit to find it's place (although I enjoyed flying them occasionally anyway)... but I'm pretty sure I can kill a Tornado with a Munin with little difficulty in a ranged fight (or at least force him to flee).
To carve a successful niche for yourself in EVE you need to be able to out sell, out produce, out fight,-á out run, or out wit your competitors.
If you can do none of the above, your only option is to complain on the forums that somehow you are at a disadvantage using the exact same tool set-áas the rest of the player base. |

What's great about EVE is that if you don't like a ship, you don't have to fly it. They also had threads up about the changes for quite a while, you could have added your opinions there.
With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

I agree that the Munin is still useless.
The Vagabond was not nerfed at all. You can still fly it as a kiter the same as before. The velocity bonus was traded for a shield boost bonus, and added onto the hull itself.

Correct. However the Minmatar style of gameplay is not always conductive to reading patch notes properly.

In my opinion having a ship that only one alliance in game is able to use it properly in one of their doctrines is a pretty big fail to me. I really don't understand how can they be happy with that.
Some ships appear to be balanced around popularity, others in performance, others I really don't know...
Is not used in high-sec, is not used in low-sec, and only one top alliance in null-sec (big props to BL, really like to read the stuff and see the movies of what they do) uses them as they should be used.
All Munnin roads go to BL, they already demonstrated multiple times that the Munnin is indeed a very good ship.
Forget the tinfoil hat, I don't believe in favoritism, but leaving a ship like this completely eludes me in a devblog with the word *balance* in its title. Balance compaired to what?
