Though his presence on the forums has been muted as of late, back when CCP Soundwave was actively writing/responding here, I, like many of you, grew to appreciate his....shall we say, directness. htfu, stfu, htfu, eve IS pvp, on and on in variations. Everything is becoming too balanced and homogenized. It looks great on paper, but people are supposed to exploit niches and customization in this game. That's why players responded to Soundwave's htfu message. He was a rebel who reinforced a hardline message. We're now on a path to each race having the same abilities. Cookie-cutter playstyles. Custom formations. Whether that's good or bad is relative. The kids may love it, (so it may be beneficial) but imo, as a whole, there's just no swag in it.
Like him or dislike him: Soundwave had swag.
Do they serve hakarl in Dublin?
