Christopher Multsanti	Posted - 2006.01.08 23:17:00 - [1] /Rant on Ok first off I'll start with the obvious lag. It's completely unacceptable. This game is currently unplayable at the moment. From a PVP perspective this game is worthless in its current state. It needs to be fixed. Then there are numerous other things that are wrong with this game since the patch. Belt icons broken, jump gate activations for people jumping in broken. I can honestly say in my year and a half of playing this game this is worst it has ever been. This patch has completely screwed up this game, surely server stability should have been looked at before adding extra content to an already (in certain situations) laggy game. Deploying a patch then saying we are going to build a new server soon to fix the problem created is just not good enough. /rant off Someone call me Whhhaaaaaaammbulance please. Death and Glory in H-PA

Read the patch notes for tuesday's patch - they're scheduled to fix a lot of things. --

Wait... theres actually a little sense in this post, even if it has been done over and over and over and over and over again. Then again, atleast the problem isnt going to go unnoticed. Im sure CCP appreciate the friendly critisism.

I have lived in some of the quieter systems for a while now (about 4 people in it 24/7) and I never, and I repeat never had any trouble with lag. Ofc, when flying through busy systems the game slows down a bit, but I never had actual lag so hard I couldn't play the game. Are all the complainers confined solely to jita or something? Move out to some lower populated territory, you'll never have to whine again. the other issues are sometimes a problem yes, but ranting about it won't fix anything. Bug reports do. Macro Slasher	Posted - 2006.01.08 23:58:00 - [19] I don't think it's just the "patch" that has caused problems. Eve has also become more and more popular at the same time. I haven't played for a long time myself but when I started I saw something like 300 people in the newbie corporation's chat channel. Yesternight I saw 1024. And a lot of those new people are crammed into quite tiny space which is causing its own problems since a node runs many solarsystems (not really necessary adjacent or logically ordered). They screwed up by not anticipating all that and not ordering the new hardware 3-4 months earlier. RMR wasn't good for some but it was just the icing on the cake.
