i think Nikolai Nuvolari deserves a mention. the name isn't that funny. but you tend to remember it (after seeing him posting multiple times in EVERY thread you read :p )
and its original. i hate seing like a billion of common names spelled in some odd way. like Legolas, Leggolas, Legolass,
