Well a lot of ppl have talked about it ;p but would u really vote for it?
Would u rather
a) Leave the npc stations as they are b) have all npc stations (wtf o_0) c) Take away all npc stations in .0 and make them just like other conq station regions
and say why if u feel like it ;p

NPC stations in low sec (.1 through .4) are fine. There should never be npc stations in 0.0.
The only possible exception would be 0.0 system immediately adjacent to empire systems. However, in the case of, say, Fountain, there are multiple npc stations deep in the core of that region.

I think that some NPC stations in 0.0 should be changed to conquerable stations. But there needs to be some way for the little guys to get out to 0.0 without being in an alliance.

I feel there should be more npc stations in certain 0.0 regions.
The regions which have no npc stations are pretty dull and lifeless.
If all npc stations were taken away from 0.0 it would make i very hard for new comers to make a life there.
BTW, is this something ccp is considering or were you just curiouse of other peoples opinions?

Conq stations should be removed, they were introduced as a quick fix as POS were pushed back and got a complete rework.
The conq stations thus nolonger fill any function apart from making it harder for the small player to get out into 0.0 as the alliances can have vast resources 100% safe far far out in 0.0.
As POS now are available and fairly well working they should be removed so that POS can truely take over.

d) we're going to need more space someday, when that day happen, space opened should have no station at all of any kind.
Though I find 0.0 with NPC usefull it's a bit more small corp friendly than alliance friendly. It's just the ratio of space with NPC / space without that is a bit too high.

I would like more (not all) NPC stations.
whenever I go exploring in 0.0 its allways solo () and I can't dock at half the bloody stations because they're owned by RA or whoever

NPC stations in 0.0 are fine right now. Cant think any of reason to remove them, except not to encourage more to enter 0.0 if stations are removed. ----------------

There are lots of solo npc hunters in 0.0 plus small groups of 3-8, these people would have no chance for survival out there if all npc stations were conquerable. It ytakes a long time to take down the shields on a station, and thats only the begining, those small groups would then have to defend it.

I disagree. It would be rather odd for the major NPC groups fdound in 0.0 to not have stations out there.
Really now, how would people ever 'join' those groups otherwise? Not to mention they'd simply be missing from their 'safe' areas, because empire is too well protected for them to have bases there.
Some npc bases should most definitely exist in 0.0, but not tons of them like in empire hi/low sec.

I think the best thing would be to make ALL stations conquerable. It would be awesome to battle the empires for the space they have.

Serpentis/Angels etc have to live somewhere. Stupid to just remove their territory from the game
Besides when faction warfare comes out it will probably be possible to fight for them.
I'd just like to see them prevent docking access to people with negative standings.

Leave 0.0 as it is, it's part of it's charm, the difference in regions is what makes it partly fun and interesting, at least in my opinion.
If every reason was the same there would be one less reason for controlling a decent/profitable area of the universe.
NPC stations in 0.0 also basically prevent a player alliance entirely restricting access to the region, allowing other (non alliance) members to (more easily) enter the region, dock, and go about their business. Sure this is at a greater risk, but it is one aspect of the game that would not be as possible if all NPC stations in 0.0 were removed. Eve Fitting Manager |

Outposts are not an option to all, nor is keeping ownership of a station after you conquer one.
NPC station function very well for that segment of the population that likes to break themselves into 0.0 life without needing to join the already dominant corporations in a certain area. The little guy so to say.
If you'd remove them, that little guy would have no mroe step in between full fledged empire life, and a life of 0.0 politics involved with getting access to a conquerable station/outpost.
I like that there are steps in between.
What I don't like is how territorial control of some of the richest regions in Eve is hampered by the abundance of NPC stations in them. NPC stations make a region extremely hard to control, to conquer and to completely lose.
That would be fine with me if we would be talking mediocre real estate, interesting for those NPC stations should be designed to help: the little guy.
But the richest regions deep in 0.0 should never have had them. Regions like Venal, Delve and Fountain or even geminate shouldn't have ahd NPC stations. Instead, regions like Syndicate, Pure Blind should have more. And regions like Providence, Tribute, Catch should have been the regions witht he NPC stations from the start.
NPC station regions should be the gateways to real 0.0, not the cores of real 0.0 like they often are now. That role should be played by the most developed player owned regions.
But I don't see CCP changing things anymore really. The only change ever made concerns Delve, and that was logical, if regrettable in some ways.
