I just built my first Raven, and I've been browsing through the ship setups for it, but a lot of the threads seem to be out of date. Anyone know any decent setups for the Raven post-RMR? Or do the Cold War setups still apply?

erm the raven is probably the best single ship in game
6 siege t2 - 2 what ever
3 t2 invol fields, 1 xl t2 booster, 1 amp, 1 sensor booster
3bcu t2, 1 cpu t2, 1 what ever u feel is best

Yep, there you go. Snipe, Tank, and Gank in one setup. You don't even need all the slots for it, feel free to put what you want in remaining.

How does the stacking penalty apply to the Invul fields? I am currently using 4 t2 hardeners (1 of each type). My resists are fairly good, but what are the resists like with 3 t2 invulns vs 4 t2 hardeners of each type?

This setup sounds very cap hungry, do you use it mainly for standoff confrontations? Sounds a little to versatile to be viable.
I haven't really flown the Rven recently, so am curious.

ok that fit you posted is probebly THE worst setup ever
ok its his first raven so i wont count in like nber skills
6 siege luncers (if you have propper missile skills if not then go crusie)
xl booster pref c5l 4 hardeners sheild boost ampl
2 pdus t2 and 3 bcu's
those harderners are either 4 picific hardeners for npcing or 2 of em/thermal em/kinetic and then 2x multy hards
this is what works best for me to day and if you ahve some spare cpu trow in a nos or 2

With half decent cap skills and 2 power diag, 3 invuls can run indefinately at around 70% cap of course with better skills it can be more like 80%, i would say stick to race specific hards if fighting rats, also with the reduction in missile volume a heavy cap booster is pretty handy if you come stuck with cap shortages.

the cap booster eats your pg... and thats a thing raven is kinda shy on :S with only 2 pdus

lol....those setups are laughable :)
I'll say this: my setups for all my ships that have cap injectors, will pwnzrs 99% of you 99% of the time. Only way you'll win is pray that I dont have backup arrays AND that you have the right racial jammers OR you have me totally overwhelmed firepower wise to the degree that cap doesn't matter.

well 3 bcu are pretty standard leaving 2 lows (pdu II), also ravens are very easy to fit.

Well, I've been in the game about 4/5 months, but my skills arent that fantastic. I have Eng 5 (most support eng skills to 3/4), Electronics 4 with most of the support skills up to about 2/3, but my Shield skills still need some work, as do my Missile skills, as I've been flying Gallente ships and armour tanking. Thanks for all the replies so far, good to hear your opinions.

I don't think the best single setup exists. Your setup should be geared towards what you do. As I encounter the same rat type I get much better resistance using 1 Invulnerabily and 2 rat specific hardeners then using 2 or 3 Invulnerabilities and I use less cap doing it. And the XL booster sucks my cap dry fast and that is with 4 PDS 2's. And I tested BCU's and there was a significant drop in return when I put on the 3rd one (over 50%) so I only use 2.

I think his setup was a gate camping raven which can tank sentries for long enough to kill the ship.

lol yeah true... :P i used it at multyple occations for that :P but i now use it to hunt sansha with grate turn out

if u fit a pdu into lows, the cap stabalises itself at around 80% (no clue why tbh  )
not my favourite setup but it works

There is no point trying to tank the sentrys if your gonna gate camp, put some cruise on and sit 150km from the guns, fair enough it will take 10 seconds to hit the target but thats enough for popping indys and slow bs, also they cant shoot you back or they get agro on the sentrys also.
