Occassus Republica is currently looking for more skilled combat pilots. Occassus Republica is a well balanced and medium sized corp that has been in the north for over 2 years, having lived through the Venal Alliance, New Venal Alliance, and Phoenix Alliance before moving to NBSI in Tenal. We have many very experienced players, both PVPers and Industrialists, and are currently seeking to increase the size of our PVP force.
Requirements:
Some amount of PVP experience.
Ability to fly at least small t2 ships (interceptors/assault frigates) or battleships.
Desire and willingness to participate in PVP; not only in roaming/ganking, but also in the defense of our home.
Some amount of self sufficiency. We may provide ammo and help replace losses, but we will not be handing out free battleships (yet). You do get free access to good NPCs and ore though.
Ability to Use Voice Communications (Ventrilo).
Participation is important, and recruits who do not participate or are inactive will not last long in the corp.
We do not have any timezone requirements, though we would prefer people from US timezones.
Benefits:
Opportunity to fight alongside some very experienced PVPers.
Fairly strong industrial support for both holding space and supporting PVPers.
Access to 0.0, meaning good NPCs, ore, and complexes as long as you understand that pvp comes first.
We are not publically recruiting to just increase our member count, we are doing this in an attempt to find some good PVPers, even if that means just one or two good people. So please do not apply unless you really feel that you will be able to fulfill these requirements.
Those interested in joining should EVE-Mail Draconian and Revenant. Please tell us about your experiences and abilities in EVE, such as how long you have been playing, what corporations/alliances you have been in, what you're able to fly, etc.

even i who love pvp will hit the belts(for sec status on my poor alt) or plexes when targets are not to be found or i am looking for an item or need cash b/c i dont draw on corp resources for myself
we are looking for PvPers but we aslo are stating there ways for you as a pvper not to go broke fighting

I've been in OCC now for about 6 months and can't say enough about the smarts and raw killing ability of our dedicated PvP forces.
For veteran PvPers who are interested in Capital ships, we build Dreadnaughts and Carriers and are poised to be one of the most capable capital ship builders in the north.
It's really worth considering. We have a good group of folks here and you will feel at home.

Whether you are uber or a nublet, OCC has a great gaming environment to offer. We have some of the best PVPer's in the North (in game for that fact), and we all have crokite swimming pools for when we need to relax
