I would like to suggest, where wrecks are killed by other players and have not salvaged or its cargo collected for over 30 minutes, for EVE to consider the wrecks abandoned, changing the wrecks from yellow to blue, allowing any player to collect the cargo and salvage the wrecks. Thanks. |

Not everyone salvages immediately. Many people run a couple missions or belts and then come back about 2 hours later (before wrecks disappear) and salvage. |

As Rowells stated, people run missions for 2 hours then salvage the loot in one go, just before the wrecks pop. |

yep.
I build up a few missions and hit before their end of life timer runs out.
You can thank the miners for this and thier whining about loot minerals and such. We used to get better loot drops and filled up salvage boats faster. So for many missions you had to run right after as getting 2 missions in the hold not happening. Now....I look at noctis' cargo hold and go why? Even a large mission fully cleaned out will fit in my slavage catalyst from the old days lol. |

How about the suggestion that at the end of the current 2 hours, the wrecks then become abandoned for a further hour before exploding. That way, nothing is taken away, and both the original pilot and the looter will have a benefit. This will only really matter if they add wrecks to the items that can be combat scanned however, since you won't really find many bits of loot hanging around for 3 hours at a celestial. I would love to see if we could scan player ship wrecks.
Would be also a nice move to bring PvP into space. |

I'd like to see lowsec or nullsec wrecks auto-abandon.
You're in zero security space. How the hell does someone "own" a wreck when stations constantly change hands? |

We got salvage drones now, you can collect on the fly. If it takes someone 2 hours to collect their loot, they deserve to loose it. And what's with the tractor? What Eve space science keeps tractors from locking unto yellow trash? |

There is nothing stopping you taking what you want from the wreck while it's still yellow except your own cowardice.
the entire enemy support fleet is dead except for one interdictor a titan could easily finish off with drones -á--áCommander Ted |

If you have left your mission wrecks behind, nobody will find it until you get there again: wrecks seem to be unscannable. I don't see much need for this change, but in general I approve it. |

I don't approve, the present system is fine. It's not like there's a limited supply of wrecks. If you want more wrecks, make your own. Dumbing down of Eve Online will result in it's destruction... |

We used to also get a lot more Metal Scraps and they used to take up a lot more space.

I keep a set of lights with me, spares and a set of salvagers and let them go while I mission. They usually have the mission cleaned up almost as fast as I complete it... |

A cargo-can should not friggin pop after 2 hours : LAME!
Common!! Concord maintaining a record for every last singe cargo-can out there : LAME!
After the 2nd hour anyone should be allowed to recycle the space trash . .
Stop being so CHEAP!! people are pissed!!
Hey! What about the local NPC-pirate corporations show up on hour 2!! and they start "MAGICALLY" removing the items!! HEY!! that debree could be directlly related to INCURSION!! YOu see what happens when u try NOT TO BE SO CHEAP!

I have always thought it would be a good idea for a wreck to go abandoned after some time. I would say one and a half hours giving the last 30mins of the wrecks life as a free for all wreck.
Also abandoning wrecks should remove the information of who created it in show info and overview, give people a way to cover their tracks if they're moving through hostile space. Lieutenant Turelus
