Unfortunately in every open PvP game there are always a portion of the player base that find it amusing to ruin the game play of others 
The only thing you can do is try and stay out of their way and be careful where you go until you can look after yourself.

Well since you say you live in 0.0 I assume then that you are referring to the lame ganking and podding on sight tactics of the evil alliance players whom I personally consider the lowest of all the gankers.
Well there is an alliance named just that, NBSI (not blue shoot it)
The point you seem to be missing is that if you are flying around in 0.0 and are unknown to the alliance that occupies that space then yes you will get shot, not because it's fun or ammusing but because the alliance concerned have put a lot of time effort and ISK into taking over that region of space.
You could be a spy for an enemy alliance scouting ahead for them, giving them vital information about numbers and types of ships, they just don';t know and in war it's a case of shoot first and sod the questions.

Sorry but the 'spy' excuse is the most worn out and lame excuse there is. I just don't believe that for one second and neither should any other player with an ounce of intelligence.
1 case in 10 does not justify it as a rule. Just admit it is ganking purely out of enjoyment and preseve what
shred of dignity is left.
Sure so the alliance pays out boat loads of isk to take over a region of space then they should just let anyone that fancies it just fly around and reap all the benifits for none of the outlay ... you wanna fly in alliance owned space try approaching that alliance and asking them if it's ok first 9 times out of 10 they will say yes and set standings accordingly thus eliminating the problem.
Think about it and act accordingly

If that "9 times out of 10" statistic was true, and the alliances also had a policy of not **instantly** killing every single non-blue they come across, I would have no complaints. Great minds think alike.
But how else can an alliance safely and effectively protect it's interests without having a N.B.K.I policy .... how do they tell who is legitimately just after some nice rats / roids whatever, and who are actively seeking inteligence / weaknesses for another alliance ?
