Edited by: KilROCK on 11/01/2006 16:06:08 Kinda odd how a topic with good suggestion becomes lost in pages Torque's topic. And a another posted by some guy who seems to have no idea what he's talking gets noticed and the whole brawl goes on.
They need a boost. I don't care how you do it. Just do it.
And to be honest, About the typhoon. I'd rather see it 'suck' than becoming the new raven, gankgeddon or whatever. With the changes suggested by TomB, it will dish out more DPS than a freaking raven with proper fitting...

Let them talk, it's the boring rivalry between these two. One Clueless and the other is stubborn.

How about you stop whining about your blasterthron and accept the fact ARTILLERY NEEDS A FIX and autocannons a tad bit aswell. Take your gallente whining elsewhere, Go whine with your caldari alt on some nerf raven topics and save bandwidth.

Originally by: Forsch Funny how most of you love to quote the dps graphs to justify that artillery needs a boost. But they don't factor in cap usage, the ability to choose dmg types, that tracking disruptors aren't doing much against weapons with high falloff etc etc.
What you see in game is usually a good hint to what needs a boost and what doesn't. And I do see plenty of minmatar ships fitted with artillery.
That artillery needs a slight boost because of the increased tanking, I can be convinced of. But not what some of the fanatics here ask for. Try to stay realistic.
With the new stacking on sensor booster and tracking computer II VS dampeners/tracking disruptor, you can't really be serious right?
Don't give that as an argument, A tracking disrupted 1400mm gun, WILL get affected, not only by range, but by having the already ****ty tracking reduced.
The graphic only show the gap between all kinds of weaponry, on the field many things can affect the output of the damage, but it is ALREADY lowest. So be quiet.

Ever tried to hit one with a large turret while its orbiting you? Doesn't work very well - for that matter, medium turrets have issues, IIRC, while the heavy web drone is orbiting.
I'd release my drones and shoot them off. You don't always fight BS, and until they release the small/medium version of the webber drones, i sure hell won't be using my 75m3 with 3 heavy webber..

Nice job spitting out setups for the tempest and making everyone see them... not that it's hard to come up with one... but how do you expect to come on top when someone knows what you're using...

You can't really take in the DPS you'll lose while jammed since a Hypnos Multispectral won't be jamming you alot, if not, fail ALOT.
