In the last few days there was a lot of talk about MC and BoB being very friendly with each other. Some questions: Is MC getting ready to get involved in Delve? Are docking rights in Delve and Period Basis part of a compensation in an upcoming contract? Is it safe to assume that MC will never take a contract on BoB or any of their vassals?

Mercs are better used for softer targets that aren't really looking for fights, who can actually be hurt by financial concerns. Crazy bastards like BoB thrive off of blowing crap up and burning isk on things to accomplish that goal. (A group after my own heart) Why blow tons of isk to provide that? Netto

BoB handles NBSI policy MC doesn't shoot neutrals unless the neutral corp shot first (killing for free = bad biz) MC = Neutral... BoB respects MC's neutrality therefore HAS to put MC to +ve or they would be a target. Got it? Probably same reason why MC are blue to F-E as well otherwise we would shoot them in our space and we want to be neutral with them? Neutral = bad, Positive = neutral in a sense.

As for MC habitating Delve and Period Basis, its their perogative. MC pilots always ask for confirmation of hostiles/friendlies in the shared intel channels, and only initate hostilities on those who would fire on them - in this case, VC, IMP, FA, whoever else. Long story short, MC aren't a publically owned or funded corporation, what they do when they're not on contract is really nobody else's business.

I'm pretty certain that the main reason BOB has MC at a positive standing is simply because MC will not oot BOB. More over, shooting MC has no benift to BOB at all. They are one of the few parties in EVE that can calim to be nuetral to all. And as such shooting them does nothing but gain a negative standing, and perhaps an empire war. It was much the same situation with 5 and MC. We even flew together during the titian event. We had them at positive standing simply because it wasn't in our interests at all to kill them. Things are differant now, and I suspect if MC were hired to hit BOB things would be differant there. Also, I'm not certain that hiring MC to attack BOB would be a really effective tactic. I harley ever see them in empire. and if they are fighting you, its almost always at oyour doorstep.
